The Big Beautiful Bill isn’t really a tax cut. It is mostly comprised of deferred taxes. They only slashed a trillion from the budget. The rest is financed through increased debt.

The BBB will add over 3 trillion to the deficit which the public will pay one way or another.

Either higher taxes down the road, increased inflation or through higher interest rates… Most likely a combination of all three. But it will be paid.

You’re looking at it completely wrong.

Fundamentally it doesn’t matter if you are a good person. Even the nicest most moral of us are sinners in the eyes of Christians.

What matters is that you are forgiven by god for your sins. Even if you lie, cheat, steal, murder, commit adultery etc. Going to church and being absolved of your sins makes you a good person and welcome by god.

The worst people I have met are Christians for this very reason. They believe they have been absolved of their wrongs in the eyes of god and you have not.

Why wait?

Mark my words Republicans will turn to using convict labor to harvest crops before they ever turn on Trump or admit any faults.

Step1: Round up undocumented immigrants and criminals.

Step2: Put them in prison for “crimes”.

Step3: Profit! Lease them to farms for $1 a day. Since slavery is legal if you are incarcerated. Republicans are going to build an entire underclass of criminals who will do these jobs.

Bonus: None of the brown people or criminals will be able to vote because they are now felons. Farmers will cry and vote Republican if anyone even suggests doing away with the prison industrial system.

The Russian economy is just now fully mobilized on a war footing. Stopping the war would send them into an economic depression.

Victory for Russia in Europe isn’t necessarily rolling through Eastern Europe and Germany at the head of huge tank formations.

But taking the Baltic States and parts of Europe and sitting on them. Would Western Europe and the US come to the aid of those smaller NATO allies and engage in a potentially grinding war to throw Russian back?

Grabbing a few key areas while splitting NATO permanently… That it could do.

I keep a partial local copy of Wikipedia on my phone and backup device with an app called Kiwix. Great if you need access to certain items in remote areas with no access to the internet.

I’ve had that experience on all social media platforms. Sometimes just straight up hard right propaganda will appear on my feed and I have to block it again and again.
