Apparently inspired by “Dinosaur,” a pigeon statue on the High Line Plinth, at 30th Street and 10th Avenue

Doesn’t sound like it’ll be a recurring thing (they totally should do it again), but looks like it was lots of fun!

This made for an interesting discussion at dinner lol. Lots of opinions on what is or isn’t a “dumpling” xD

A bit late but, in case you missed it!

Just watched this after hearing about Jimmy’s attendance at one of the No Kings protests. He hit allllll the points. So awesome to see someone with such a broad TV audience speak the truth. :)

First-known sighting of living Antarctic 3 ft long deep-sea squid Gonatus antarcticus, and it’s beautiful! :)

“Reflections on the Thames, Westminster” is an artwork created by John Atkinson Grimshaw in 1880 in the United Kingdom. Employing oil on canvas, this piece belongs to the Impressionism art movement and measures 127 x 76.2 cm. It falls under the cityscape genre.

The artwork portrays an evocative nocturnal scene along the River Thames in Westminster. Illuminated by the soft glow of moonlight, the river reflects the lights from the surrounding architecture and bridge. The imposing structure of the Houses of Parliament can be seen prominently in the background, with the iconic clock tower (known today as Big Ben) clearly visible. Figures of people, including a person with a dog, are depicted walking along the embankment, adding a serene human element to the otherwise stark cityscape. The overall ambiance is serene yet deeply atmospheric, capturing the quiet majesty of London at night.

It’s not good, but that’s why I generally keep it super simple. Makeup, fashion, hobbies, if I’m going to participate lol. Nothing remotely political. In fact - much like online video games, I have other accounts where I don’t reveal my gender or I’ll even talk like a dude on purpose. I already know we’re vastly outnumbered here, so I don’t care to invite mean comments from men. Big kudos to any fighting sisters out there, but I don’t want that stress in my life.

Maybe I should start treating this place more like my Tumblr and just post pretty pictures I like without giving a fuck lol

I’m fond of Japanese, Chinese and Korean is nice too, Spanish is comforting, also French and Italian sound beautiful.

But to make the most of this magical opportunity, I’d pick snap my fingers to learn Chinese (gonna go with Mandarin) because it’s a daunting language to read, write, and pronounce. Would be nice to skip past the learning process lol.

I was 26! Also for context, that was only my 2nd longterm relationship. So I was lacking in individual growth and relationship experience, looking back.

Dated for a few years, thought well we might as well get married for the perks, then afterwards realized we were just roommates and actually not all that compatible. We were both bored and letting life pass us by. It became my ex would stay out late “due to work” while I truthfully didn’t care. Found myself envying others’ lives, also imagining how life could be with a different partner. So I initiated the divorce, which timed with the apartment lease ending. The divorce process was easy and both sides moved on fairly quickly, so I suspect deep down my ex knew it was right to break up as well.

As for the fuck up on my part, I didn’t tell him but the realest truth is I stayed in a rebound relationship that should’ve never happened. And I felt comfortable. So I would advise not doing.. That. Lol.

I just learned about this after exploring the Fish Doorbell website (which is a really cool and cute visit actually, super recommend). It was mentioned in their Fishdoorbell news report:)

Yeah I’m not sure. The link is to his actual artist website, but I didn’t see “Only” either. Seems like he’s not claiming that one or didn’t want to feature it, who knows lol
