Honestly, given the length of early access (and the fact that this isn’t a new complaint) I wonder if it’s actually a choice rather than an oversight. My hope would be that it’s not difficult to implement, and can be modded in now and added to the game later. Fingers crossed it’s not due to a technical limitation

It’s too bad the review copies were delayed, but I’m glad reviewers are taking their time with it. If this level of positivity continues I feel like BG3 will be a serious GOTY contender
Yeah giving a toggle or something to let people who don’t care for the dice rolls skip/fast forward them would be a worthy addition. I agree, the current experience is really clunky if you’re trying to move through a given roll quickly.
Also, a tip: hovering your cursor over the skill tag on a given dialogue option will show you your modifiers for that particular skill, but I can understand wanting that to be designed differently to make it more obvious. I don’t dislike how it’s done now, because it evokes some of the “I know what I’m good at” from tabletop which would guide my choices anyways, but I also understand that just because something doesn’t bother me doesn’t necessarily mean it’s designed well.
As far as not knowing the DC ahead of time, that is the entirety of tabletop dnd (and a decent number of other systems I’m sure). I’ve never played in a game where we were told that, and I don’t tell my players when I DM. I do understand the sentiment, because unlike a tabletop game with really open-ended options for dialogue and approaches to problems, we’re doing the more basic video game RPG dialogue options and actions, and some of the sense for how difficult something should be doesn’t translate over. There wouldn’t be anything wrong with an option to show the DC ahead of time, but IMO that gets far enough into personal preference territory that I don’t think it’s really a knock against their design in a way that some of the other points are.
In all I think the answer is just toggles/options (maybe tweaks) rather than a redesign; I enjoy the rolling experience myself and don’t really share your complaints, but my enjoyment isn’t any more valid than your agony hahaha.
Interestingly all Apple silicon Macs support fast-charging via USB C. The 16-inch can only do 140W fast-charging via MagSafe, but that makes sense since ports that support charging speeds >100W are fairly new
Oh wow so it’s one of those. The togglable passives aren’t really on my radar so I’m glad you could figure it out!
Yeah in all I’d say my 5e knowledge is helpful, because the big picture things are still in place, so I know what I’m doing when it comes to character creation and levelling (assassin rogue still sucks), as well as spell selection. It’s also nice that Monk and Ranger are improved from tabletop, because I’ve always been partial to those classes. But I definitely can be hindered by my “knowledge”, because some things aren’t quite as good as they were in tabletop, or work differently, which can obviously cause some problems. Overall I’m totally fine with the differences so far; I haven’t come across any changes that I think are stupid
The wiki lists it as a reaction (which makes sense, that’s what it is in tabletop). Are you familiar with the system to configure your reactions? You can configure your different reactions to trigger automatically, to ask if you want to trigger, or to never trigger. I don’t remember the key to open that menu, but there will be a little box above your inventory/action bar on the right side with the icon for the reaction; if you click that it will open the menu
Personally, divination wizard. It’s very strong in tabletop 5e, and was actually nerfed a decent bit in this game (your portent dice can only be used to replace attack rolls and saving throws, not ability checks, and requires a reaction; in tabletop it actually doesn’t use any action at all). If you’re interested in super optimised builds, I’d actually recommend checking out the various DND 5e class guides and multiclass builds online, for example r/3d6 on Reddit, but bear in mind that various class features might work differently in BG3 or rely on things that only work in a tabletop game
“I ask thee again: what is the value, of a single PC level?”
I’ll translate: “I find actions of the 1337x admins disappointing. Deleting my torrents causes confusion for the user base, and these actions reflect poorly on your character, suggesting pusillanimity and insufficient discretion when selecting a sexual partner.”
Without rewording the title, putting quotes around “Coup Plotters” would make it more readable, but the phrasing is clunky
