I see some Lemmy results quite fine. Google results need some time to be indexed.

I'm using nix-doom-emacs which allows a declarative doomemacs installation, unfortunately it's currently kind of broken and we are stuck with a big drift with doomemacs upstream (pinned commit is this one from september 2022, issue to bump the doomemacs dependency is here and it's not very active). It's still usable though.
The creator of doomemacs is a NixOS user and he just uses the usual install process, so it might be the better way in the end.
Thanks!
Unfortunately this type of computer (2 in 1, x86 tablets, etc.) has generally very limited IO and a strange BIOS configuration (32-bits UEFI) that makes installing Linux more difficult than on a normal laptop (not impossible though).
You will need to provide us with the exact model you have in order to know exactly what's ahead of you.

Right now there are 10 (that I could find on browse.feddit.de) instances named Linux on different server
Over time one of them will have more activity than the other and attract more and more users, it will then be THE linux community on lemmy. Just give it time.
https://simplelogin.io/ allows you to create infinite mail aliases. I personally use a different alias for every service I use.
I've been using NixOS since February and have never been this happy with a Linux distro. It's seriously a game changer and it allows me to have a peace of mind about my installation that I could never have with other distros (I was using arch before that).
Relay Pro has always been the goto reddit app for me until I moved to Slide (FOSS + available on F-Droid).
MNT Pocket Reform will ship end of year
