fellow LARPers on the back for successfully killing so many marginalized groups without interruption.

Ah yes, like the Arab and Muslim Americans in Dearborn who decided they wouldn't vote for a candidate who promised to kill their brothers and sisters in Lebanon with the utmost lethality. These people are the ones who are killing marginalized groups. Sure.

God, the sick and twisted knots libs can twist themselves into trying to explain how fascism takes rise. I give you 1 year before youre calling ICE on your Muslim and Arab "tankie" neighbors.

In 2 years, when ICE will be going door to door doing blatant curb stomps, pug Jesus is still going to be whining about tankies not voting for genocide, as he posts bizarre memes about the good old days of the Union beating the confederates. Absolutely bizarre.

The defeat of German Nazism was not a foregone conclusion. It was the Soviets behind 70% of Nazi casualties that defeated German Nazism - at tremendous cost I might add.

Fascism isn't some fad that inevitably falls out of fashion because people magically start seeing the contradictions, but a cancer that has to be militantly suppressed with utmost prejudice.

South Korea is an American vassal state. South Korea's military is fully under the control of the US military. I know of no other purportedly sovereign country with such a setup.

And after you leave a voicemail, the rep will task an intern with spending 15 minutes clearing out all messages.

Dog, you can't be lecturing people about their lack of understanding thermodynamics, and then mix up power and energy.

Melting ice takes a fuckton of energy.

The counter here is that oftentimes, snow melting systems like in the OP use waste heat that would otherwise get sent into the atmosphere or a lake. There is no power being generated specifically for melting snow. Using waste energy could be seen as a "free" way to melt the snow.

Piping existing waste heat underground into a system like this, when the road is uncovered for repair anyway, would make a lot of sense

They're already doing this in Holland, Michigan.

The waste heat comes from their power generation.

If Bernie would've been warning about this in 2023, he would've been called red fash.

Using a 12 year old cell phone processor to run data harvesting. Any processing power left over for transcoding and display of video is a bonus.

It's not fair to characterize jellyfin as being unable to scale, and it's just downright wrong to cast it as being built "for one single local user".

Jellyfin has great support for setups that include numerous users. The entire dashboard is basically designed around this concept of an admin keeping track of dozens upon dozens of users.

You seem like you have many reservations about specific functions in Jellyfin, but you were vague in explaining thrm - what specific things are you worried about?
