Since they’re cached on other instances, posts will stay visible, but it’s just that comments won’t get federated, so that was my logic for keeping the recent and most popular ones, so yea
I don’t mind if they’re all posted in a short time though. It should be clear that the posts are reposts of the old community

I’ve never really checked how they worked. I always believed there was some encryption which, in a way, prevented Apple from seeing the contents of a notification once its sent

Not sure how I feel about this but hey, if they encrypt it properly and make it not too expensive, it could help them gain money to run signal so it’s nice
