Ooh, I like this one! I thought it was, "it's too late to call the job" when I first heard it and was pretty unsure what he was going for...
I like to sing, "Wrapped up like a douche, another rubber in the night" but yours sounds closer. That song is great for this. "Blighted by the right, wrapped up like douche, another Romney in the fight"
It's Lemmy! Lemmy! Lemmy lemmy lemmy!
I really enjoyed reading your thoughts. I have been trying to do much of the same as far as mindfulness and not forcing things. Listening to myself and the universe. Unfortunately, this will probably get deleted because this is not the appropriate community. I'm not really sure what community would be best, but I hope I find that community somewhere on Lemmy! @Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com, do you have any ideas what would be an appropriate community?
Yes, I agree! What an amazing shot. Please tell us more about it!!
Wow. This one is really cool, too. I like how it could just be the fire in the fireplace, or it could be a child sitting in front of parents, watching the fire.
Beautiful! I am just coming to this realization myself. It's kind of scary to just rely on yourself and not try to find temporary "happiness" elsewhere.
Thank you for the reasoned reply to this question. I had planned to write something very similar, but I was having problems being quite so measured. I hope OP reads your reply.
Don't be too mad at dad: it is definitely a teachable moment to show a kid that even if you try your best, sometimes people are jerks and you don't get the outcome you wanted. Showing a child how to deal with that with grace but firmness would be excellent. Unfortunately, I expect that this was an older teacher and admin is afraid of her. You might not get anywhere with unleashing hell, though I will now choose to believe that that's exactly what dad did and the horrible person got fired. There will be justice in my imagination!
Yeah! That's even more fun!
See? You are the one I want to have around when I'm doing these kind of things. You are completely right, those other windows aren't as easy or safe! I just didn't notice and would have fallen to my death with the sash most likely. Having smart friends who think more clearly than "yes, let me do something dangerous for fun!" is awesome and the reason I have to still alive.
Also, Mr. Miller? What the hell is a pompatus of love??
