  1. Buy Joker Stencil and Lucky Cat
  2. Drag Joker Stencil over Lucky Cat

If you mean a drawing tablet, I also vouch for Krita. It's free and open source, so you can use it right away however you'd like. It has all the general tools you'd expect for drawing with a tablet and plenty of resources and documentation too!

If you mean something like an android tablet, I do see a build of Krita on F-Droid (a FOSS only app store), but I haven't ever tried it. Barring that or iPad maybe ibisPaint? It's proprietary but free to access basic tools, and could get you started exploring and creating.

I'm honestly not sure what answers you're expecting, given that feral is a pretty general, fuzzy descriptor for a myriad of characters of all sorts. The most general answer I could amass would be the depiction of adult, sapient characters which have body types you don't approve of (I've read your side bar), in media which people grow fond of like literally any other anthropomorphized being in history. Human beings can be attracted to anything, and this shouldn't be surprising considering you are literally in a community which is based around interest in fantasy creatures that are varying degrees of animal.

What is the appeal of being attracted to animal parts, assuming you are attracted to anthropomorphic animals of any type? If that sounds loaded, it's because I've mirrored your own question, but more broadly.

  • No it's a turn of phrase
  • "So I have to tilt my head when I say it?"
  • No, no, it's just an idiom.
  • "Don't call me that, I'm trying my best!"

The phrase "truth is stranger than fiction" is really going into overdrive for the roaring '20s. If only we got the boring '20s instead...

Sometimes life can be most disappointing...

Route from Owosso, Shiawassee County, Michigan, 48867, United States to Kuka Uwu, Yoyo, Kukawa, Borno State, Nigeria. Open Street Map says "Couldn't find a route between those two places."

What does that phrase even mean? Asking something else to make something for you is not artistic, so it can't be that. People who commission other humans to make things aren't suddenly artists. If they literally just mean consumption of images, it's not as if web searching for images has been difficult for the last couple decades at this point. If you don't care about art at all and just want content, there are lifetimes of things you could look for readily available to indulge. Just start typing and away you go! Literally the only thing that has changed is that now you are accelerating dead internet theory and removing human interaction from what you consume. Of course, if you don't care about art that is a moot point, since human self-expression and communication never meant anything to you in the first place.

At best, the phrase should be specialized, on demand consumption of niche content is more accessible, not art.

I understand what you mean, so many people love to harp on about skill, quality, and commercial viability when they talk about 'art' for some reason. Fuck that noise, art is just a genuine desire to express yourself. All I want in this world is for others to feel willing to express themselves, and share it with others—genuine human to human dialogue. No matter what you create, as long as you wanted to make it and express yourself, you are an artist. More than that, a human with experiences who wants to communicate with others, and that is wonderful no matter what.

Please keep creating! From one artist to another, making what you want to is always worth it. Putting yourself out there takes courage, self expression is vulnerable, and people will be hurtful sometimes. Try to remember you are valid, and deserve the ability to express yourself like anyone else. You are an artist! I'm not saying platitudes either, I still remember your comfy sweater post from a couple weeks ago I commented on. Anyway, thank you for creating, and please keep expressing yourself.

Those are just relatable things to a lot of people, and hardly exclusive to the 'furry' demographic. Memes are generally not the place to find profound or original ideas. The very fact that the memes are even drawn at all—instead of stacking jpgs on top of one another—is already putting your hypothetical furry memes as well above average amounts of effort.

As for you being the only one? No, I have seen lots of people be upset about memes being very sex focused in the past on Reddit. There have been meta memes about "the joke is sex," but sex interest isn't ever going to go away. If you want a certain meme to exist, you should be the change you want to see. I don't make a crap ton of posts, but I do make every single one of them myself. Maybe you won't like them if you scroll through, but ultimately I expressed myself and shared it. That's what art is all about anyway, self expression.

Oops sorry, that was my bad! Thanks for the heads up, and too bad about the run. What a buzzkill that must've been.

We're having a meal together! I saw Vaporeon in the corner stand of a flea market, and decided to adopt them. Now they will have a place to call home again, and hugs too!

A silly short animation I made about a pun because I love dad jokes! Also I figure it's a good way to show off Peertube, since most everything here is YouTube links.

I noticed a quite lovely funnel web yesterday morning! The maker was hiding of course, so I figured I'd lightly tap the web's edge with a piece of straw. That absolutely did the trick, and I was impressed with this little spider's speed with checking out the tiny disturbance! They explored the web for a couple minutes, and I tried to take some pictures to show off both the web and it's owner. I liked this one the most, so I'm sharing it with you all!

Saw this little one when I was out at a store, looks like goldenrod soldier beetle! Their coloration really stood out amongst the gray carts, so I was quickly drawn to them, and tried taking some close-up images!

I took this a little while back with a macro lens I had on my old phone. I was amazed at just how close I got, there are lots of very visible features here that I'd entirely overlook seeing a grasshopper minding themselves out in the world. I'm appreciative they stood still long enough to take the picture, as you might imagine even some tiny movement would've made this a blurry mess.

When you get your duck friend, you're supposed to whisper a cool name into their ear, and they'll be yours forever. I went with the name Foucault, after the creator of the Foucault Pendulum (Léon Foucault). A simple and elegant way to not only showcase the Earth's rotation, but also your approximate latitudinal location too (because the time it takes to complete a full rotation is influenced by your distance from the poles).

Anyway, science stuff aside my duck friend is incredibly soft, and has little beans in the bottom half so they can sit upright without having to balance them! I love giving them hugs and seeing them every day when I get back from work. Being that they are a tall and thin duck, I find them pretty difficult to photograph. Hopefully this side shot of them laying in bed is enough to showcase their cuteness!

A spider I happened to notice a while back while out and about. Its markings and size caught my eye, as it was very different from the spiders I typically see around here. I doubt they are rare, but it was new to me and I wanted to get a close up picture. It might not look particularly close, but it's a phone camera with no optical zoom. I was only a couple of inches from the subject and didn't want to disturb them.

She's gone fishin', and here's the big catch of the day! Sure she could just jump in and grab one, but kicking back with the ol' line is much more relaxing.

Went with lined subject and line-less background elements. I've seen it before in media and am considering doing it more in the future, kinda draws more attention to the character(s).

I'm still on the fence now!

In the fridge today to cool off a bit, here are my two plushie friends! Why two? Well let me tell you the story of how I got each:

I was shown this web series by the same name a while back by a friend and quite liked it, so when I eventually found out they made plushies of Chikn, I wanted one quite badly. Unfortunately, by the time I found out, they were already gone. I ended up waiting a few months, but after just figuring they were never coming back, I went to various websites and found a whole mountain of bootlegs. I figured what the heck, he looks a little silly but I will love him all the same!

Quite a few months passed after I got the first one and I ended up hearing that the original plushies were coming back too. So what did I do? I got another plushie of course as soon as I could! Now that I have both friends I kinda have the best of both worlds. The official plushie is one of the ones I handle sparingly and give little hugs, while the bootleg is one of my sleeping buddies!

Mono-spaced type has been all but removed from places on the internet, so it's no surprise larger scale ASCII art isn't common anymore. But have any of you made such stuff way back when, or perhaps more recently for nostalgic fun?

I made this at the end of 2022 when I realized Notepad++ was mono-spaced by default, and wanted to try creating my sona. Text is an interesting medium to work with, it reminds me of pixel art in a way due to the constraints. That and for the first time in my life I found a use for the insert key, absolutely amazing.

He was always drawing everyone!
