I always forget that's The English Patient cause it's a famous A plot that I'm eh on, but the Mandlebaum Odyssey is maybe my favorite bit from the whole show.
I'd have to check who had writing credits if anyone in particular for the Florida episodes, maybe if it was mostly Larry Charles he could have gotten somewhere. It's VERY well observed. The Pen and the #1 shirt are so fucking on point
I desperately want to make a sorta Coen brothers esque comedy about the Rovert Hanssen thing

It was adapted in 2007 as Breach but that took it seriously. This story NEEDS to be done as a comedy.
If anyone is having a kid soon, consider the name Hugo. Feel like we're running low on Hugoes. Maybe Rupert too.
Dude...I'm sure if the other person saw you posting this on a silly little internet forum for nerds....they'd think it's cute as hell, cause it's very cute.

Edit: also why does only Tell Me More have quotation marks on that arcade machine? I hope someone got fired over that blunder
I really wish Seinfeld had gotten a Del Boca Vista spin off after the show. Get Frank and Estelle down there, lock. Stock. And barrel. And have them as well as Morty and Helen get into weird old people politics. That crew was exactly my grandparents growing up and my parents felt it like the main cast does cause the ages line up almost exactly. Morty and Helen are literally my grandparents on my mom's side. Also watching my parents get grandparent habits gradually over the years has been well observed in those as well. Plus you've got the MANDLEBAUM'S
Disco Elysium is just a modern take in the My Dinner With Andre arcade game Martin played on The Simpsons
It's getting to the point where it's like someone having such a long string of really funny failures that it stops being funny. Like watching a Clouseau-esque clumsy French chef but in real life. They drop a few pots and pans, that's a chuckle, they get pinched on the nose by a lobster, pretty funny. Once the farce is over and they've scalded themselves and are covered in various spices and have a breaded deep fried hand and the lobster is still kicking, it's at the point that while it'd be funny on screen, things have gone too far for real life. Like c'mon, the 2016 joke had legs, but we're sick of it.
Referencing alley cats is greaser coded. He's going back to his youth
Bad, like, he was incoherent or bad in he thought it was 1954 and was trying to rumble with people?
As long as it doesn't remind you of Char Aznabel, cause it's totally not
