There won't be a ban. TikTok will probably end up making a U.S. only version that will satisfy congress.

The data will be sold to a 3rd party broker who will then keep sending it to China, so nothing will change in the end.

My in-laws are 1st gen immigrants. They literally crossed the border illegally to get here. They busted their ass to become citizens, and are generally great people.

They vote Trump.

I have actually heard from their mouths that the illegals coming into this country are ruining it. BITCH YOU WERE ONE!

They think Trump is a good business man, but above all else, being Catholic, they are so anti abortion, that Biden is the spawn of Satan for suggesting that abortion is an individuals choice, and nothing else matters.

This story is repeated over and over in the Hispanic communities.

My dogs are probably the best at it. Then weed does a great job dealing with my migraines, so that also helps with anxiety. Music helps on occasion.

You want to know the problem?

Obviously both candidates suck, but The questions the moderators ask, can just be ignored by the candidates. There hasn't been a good moderator in years, if ever. No one insists that the questions be answered and they continually ignore them.

Hold the candidates' feet to the fire. Don't let them go off tangent. Slap them down and insist on an answer to the question. They don't want to answer? Cut their mic and move to the other candidate who might actually answer it.

Too many times during the debate were questions like abortion and climate asked, they were just ignored.

Just saying, that an athletic girl that has a passion for reducing the size of install packages might have a solution.

Yeah those worked way better than the fm transmitters. Only problem was my car introduced a humming sound into the signal that got worse with speed lol.

[-] Gerudo@lemm.ee 2 points 2 days ago

It's not the radio that didn't work. These were fm transmitter/receivers you used to play mp3 players/cd players back in the day when vehicles didn't use aux cables. It sent the signal over short range fm signal to your radio.

The alternative was the cassette adapter, but some vehicles had swapped to cd

FM radio receivers for the car.

Never could find a radio station that would work. When you did, it only worked for about 1/4 mile down the road and then had to find another station.

Back in the 6 modded my pc to start with a keyed car ignition. It even force restarted when you held the key to the right for a few seconds.

It's right out of the dryer and hung up. Also, steam dryer is amazing. Only ironing is for button ups.

Honestly, Windows is my only gripe. I did choose knowing it because I wanted not only Steam access, but xbox cloud/gamepass and any other launcher. When using the built in Armory Crate software, which is their custom gaming software, it runs great, almost flawless. The software toggles for framerate limits, refresh rates etc is really well done.

Hardware wise, it's light which I love, the screen is really solid and audio actually is impressive. I know fully cranked specs will drain the battery quite quick. So far though with stardew valley and Xbox cloud, I've been surprised at battery life, and haven't felt a need for an external battery yet.

Plus I paid less than the cheapest Steam Deck despite me getting the 512gb version too.

Pretty much the title. I'm trying to find some ammunition to fight my HOA on wasting our money. They make us use an app to gain access to amenities, and I want to see what telemetry the app sends back or what it may track.

I tried TrackerControl, but the app (alarm.com) doesn't pop up in its feed.
