This. There is no authority above the authoritarian. His word is law now. Whatever Our Glorious Cheeto wishes is now US doctrine.

It's cope. It means nothing. Speculating on the effectiveness of warfighting technology before a peer engagement is just flag-waving. A stealthed craft deploying guided munitions at half a mile is a lot less likely to be countered when compared to a medium-range ballistic missile from 30mi out, for example, despite the risk of a manned craft behind enemy territory. On a cost analysis, we can't speculate on profitability until we know just how many of those munitions will be screened during an engagement. You fire 100 $5k rockets vs. 2 $250k cruise missile, the benefit only comes from the amount of bang that reaches the target.

When they say "no big gubment" they only care when it's not their "big gubment."

I like your worldview.

I've been having a surge of anxiety and anger about this election. I really hope I can see things your way... Right now, it doesn't feel that peace is an option. It doesn't seem like we'll get the choice.

You are on the lazy-meme community...

Just to be clear, it's the media's fault I've had back-to-back panic attacks about whether or not I'll have rights in 3mo? Sick...

There also aren't a lot of totalitarian governments that cease their tyranny because the opposing populace hold peaceful protest. Eventually, prospects will become better only when the institution burns.

That said, I don't relish the thought of tearing down an institution that people rely on for personal stability and safety, but if the system's malicious actions outweigh the good that said system does passively, then the only option, the last option, is violence.

No, because some States have entrenched parties that wish to stay entenched. And since we're 50 countries in a trench coat, nothing will change about that soon unless you live there and enjoy making gasoline cocktails.

This, except that the foundations that lead to change are laid on election night. Yes the cement was mixed and the scaffolding raised, but today sets the tools we have to work with to enact that change for the next 4 (or rarely 2) years.

You have such a toxic view of the world. I hope things get better for you.

Lmao you sit in a bubble you create with your own rage in paranoia. To bounce it back at you, "by all means" do nothing by measure of strategy or reason. By shaking your fist at fellow Americans you are certainly solving genocide. Congratulations, you won. No more genocide because you frothed at the mouth with such zeal that you get an aneurysm by 40.

4v4v4 cut-throat oddball with a star league energy core. Crab got there first and immediately stared down the guns of nearly every enemy in the game.

"Shitshitshitshitshit!"

For those interested in the homebrew: the football starts on the center. A mech on the football spends all combat picking it up. The player declares a battlefist to hold the obj, or a back-winch if no hand actuators are present. Any hit to that arm (or torso for the winch) will cause a D6 roll. On a 1, the football is hit. 3 hits destroys it. On a 6, the ball is dropped. If the football is destroyed, attacker loses as the other two players tally points. Holding the football during the end step gets your team 1 point.

Spot the metal mini for a free Charger. Please, we only have HTM refits for like 10% of them and warehouses aren't cheap.

So, my thought goes like this: ENE mechs get extra safe-spots on crit-tables, but kin/msl mechs get no bonuses whatsoever except an infinite supply of ammo. Would it break the game to, say, give the King Crab something like:

AMMO3(+2,+2,+1) and have it's base damage brackets where the AC20 and LRM applies lowered by one. This gives the KC 3 turns where it can increase short and medium damage by 2 in 3 separate rounds of combat. After all AMMO has been spent, treat the mech as ENE.

Thoughts?

Hope you all like it! Take away one jump infantry and my medium lance (swap valk for wolfhound) and that's my AS350 list.
