I think I'd prefer my preferred hand in the place of high precision, which is changing the gears... and especially the very precise twist of the volume knob if I'm messing with the radio. Honestly, the preferred hand is mostly training anyway, so by the time you learn to drive a manual without grinding your gears every other shift, you shouldn't have an issue steering with your 'off' hand.

got a shower

That made me shudder. Are you a dog and being showered by someone else, or was it a gift granted to you for hard work that day? ;)

Them's just the facts, ain't they? Though I usually say chicken strips because they're often not one-bite sized.

Ugh. I hate that the stupidity of the parents is always felt by the kids. It's even worse because the poor kids would be brainwashed and would never connect the dots. By that time they might have started a cult to paxton and abbot.

I have the other issue. I get up early and can't go back to bed because I feel the call of the void. High rise life, yo.

I have one window, one, in my computer room, and it's covered in sun blocking fabrics and it still manages to make glare happen when the sun hits the right angle.

I just got bit in the ass by bitlocker when my laptop motherboard died. I had to do the unsafe bootloader hack to get back into the drive.

Fucking poe's law. I thought you were serious until the last sentence. Even the idea of being made whole isn't something beyond what some fuckers would claim.

So what I'm hearing is, we need to drill a hole into the earth's mantle and just start shucking water into it.

.> I don't think anything could go wrong with that idea!

Professor=overworked and pushed to do the coursework more quickly so they can get everything; research, classwork, grant writing; done in the limited time they have. Not bringing in enough grant money or publishing enough well liked research often gets you fired, you know.

Parent=overworked and pushed to get to work faster so they're not late. Being late often get you fired, you know.

Both are being pushed into actions that are detrimental to society. Speeding creates a slew of cascading issues, starting with small things like increased frustrations in all drivers and building to large things like much more serious wrecks. It's a terrible thing. Giving up control of the curriculum and passing the buck to pearson (in the original OP's case) to teach students, make tests, grade coursework (that can no longer be anywhere near as inventive or applicable because it has to be in some format that a computer can grade), etc. is a terrible thing.

Wait, can you explain that? I think I have it toggled on.

You got to do it in a dennys? Our post performance was always at some random bar that was still open after we closed up. Greasy fried cheeses and stage makeup is a wonderful combination for falling in love.
