just worked a job where I did not have privlages to sudo commands. except su. had to sudo su so I could run a script.

I agree here. Feudalism to me was a system to maintain order by splitting the kingdom into essentially vassal states that worked relatively independently through a kings central government rules.

ah. that might have been it. anyway I agree. I use duck duck go and even that is getting worse and I hit google sometimes and I can't believe how bad its gotten. In every way. maps and such to.

many people don't have have it easy now, including black people. Hippie was a thing, yuppie was a thing, reagan democrats were a thing, Xers not trying in the system was a thing. tic toc is a thing. these were popular among certain groups of people at certain times and define generations. there is no hard or soft cutoff is true and its all approximation and class is far more defining than anything else no matter where you feel (if you actually realize the class your in). Its not completely arbitrary though

they did not have it easy they just lived in a better time when things were getting better. Right now we are coasting on things from that period and before and much has been reveresed.

they even came of age in the 60's for the older half. But again this was a period of improvement. civil rights got better in this time and much of it was do to boomers buat again the draft was a big reason for the hippie era. EDITED - just wanted to say generations are not complete bullshit. its like stereotypes. there is truth to them but not every individual will be like that.

Hey so um wanted to post this somewhere and figure maybe I would put it is this general thread. I use crunchyroll as a dirty casual free user and well anyway there is this "commercial" that is an over 3min long gangsta style rap video with swearing and killing talk and such. On non adult content. Anyone else seeing this??? Did crunchroll do that or were they hacked. Its crazy. Also its an incredibly aweful one in terms of sing mary had a little lamb to the beat.

So here is the thing. Given the Eqifax breach I kinda feel like giving yet another agency to much information for them to monitor your credit is just another source of a possible future data breach.
