I'm a falconer, this is true for the US. But you are able to have a bird as an apprentice. But ya, the quickest I've seen someone go from nothing to bird was like 10 months. In some countries like the UK you can just go buy a bird. I would not recommend it but it is legal.

Ya, like $100 for a staked bow perch. You'll really want a block for a falcon though, those are a bit more. Custom turned blocks are several hundred bucks. A lot of people make their own though for much cheaper. Affixing some AstroTurf onto a plant pot gets you 80% of the way there.

Black and White is in some kind of IP hell I think. Not sure why someone hasn't made a black and white inspired VR game though.

More of a passion, falconry. I'm in deep. It's really a lifestyle, basically when making a life decision I think about how it will effect my falconry.
