I support Hamas and I support the military struggle against Israeli occupation to the hilt. The Palestinian people have the legal right to militarily resist occupation, and the October 7th attack is a realization of that (that of course has been widely maligned and lied about by Western media). I also think that there are right and wrong ways to approach this topic to maintain popular support for a protest movement in the west, and come off as bloodthirsty in respect to any issue and you'll lose people. You have to maintain a messaging that does not cede ground to incorrect Western narratives, though - so this requires some careful thought. Ultimately, those people who have no sympathy for the resistance and just want the fighting to stop have an incorrect position that must be challenged.

I also think it's uncomradely to be so hostile to our friends on HexBear. Some people on here always assume the worst and start laying in with the personal attacks and unkind words. I don't think it's acceptable. We should correct others where possible in a way that respects them.

Generating text that drives reactions? Advertising is about to get a lot more annoying

Vscode. I realize text editors really just come down to personal preference but personally I would prefer to use almost anything other than notepad++

Good thing notepad++ sucks

"cringe" is just your higher order social thinking brain reminding you that you're not supposed to do something because you may face social repercussions. The best way to learn is to make mistakes. Forgive yourself, accept that you have learned, and move on. Don't ruminate on your thoughts, if they are not helpful, let them pass you by without reacting.

You'd use the vendors public key actually, no? Then they would decrypt with the private key? That way they could pass around a key that is not secret

Cook rice in rice cooker with two eggs, when it's done I peel eggs and chop up some carrot/cucumber and eat it with Sriracha mayo. Impossible burger on a bun with Sriracha mayo and cucumber and corn chips on the side. Left overs, which are usually pretty good. Sometimes cheese pizza rolls.

To me, it sounds like he cares about you as a friend and doesn't have a strong opinion on the Zionist genocide. Yeah, it sucks to live in the 4th Reich where people can have these opinions and it's fine, but we don't make friends by dictating terms. If you are feeling compelled to continue being outspoken, and I hope that you are, I think you should be adamant about your position. But there is nothing wrong with maybe blocking the fiance or finding some way to secretly keep her from seeing your posts. I would caution you to not self censure too much, unless you're comfortable hiding that side of you entirely to your friend and his soon-to-be spouse. If they can't accept you for your deeply held beliefs, then that's their problem sadly. Sorry that you have to deal with this.

If your friend isn't going to invite you to their wedding because of your beliefs, then it sounds like they kind of made the decision for you
