I really like these dj sets by mayv for whenever I need to focus on something, they're rhythmic, dancy, but still chill. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKz7MQ6y9w-K456AwrcUa_geIewSGOqF-

I have a pair of these safety 1st nail clippers:

They're meant for babies, and I think my parents got them when I was a baby, but to this day they are still sharper and easier to use than any other pair I've bought or used.

I originally started this to test out Blender's video editor (it's decent, not great) but it went pretty well, so I finished it!

What I've done since Instagram is practically necessary for networking at my university, is using shelter for android I have Instagram Revanced in a work profile, and I've opted out from everything possible in the app, which is easy but not simple. I also have my account set to private and no posts, although maybe I'll need some at some point idk. I also have trackercontrol to block trackers, and I use the Facebook Container add-on for Firefox as well as Ublock Origin.

If the lake is big enough it can still have tides.

Wow that looks amazing

Mostly make stuff. With lego, 3D printing, video editing, line rider, beat saber, html and css, Krita, writing, and whatever else I need for a project. I also like playing board games and video games like celeste, tetris, and blue prince.

Sometime recently, the page that shows while the content is loading got changed to have a dark color theme, even on light mode. This is slightly surprising for my eyes every time I click on a button to get a flash of dark and then light.

Thankfully it isn't, I'm learning some useful stuff.

I'm planning on getting a laptop within the next month which will be my daily driver for university, and it has a RTX 5060. I know people have lots of issues with NVIDIA on Linux, but I don't know of any specific issues. What issues can I expect running Fedora 42 (KDE) on this device?

I am not responding to most comments here, but I am silently taking them into account.

I signed up for a course for, like, social anxiety/social skills, and BY GOD does it feel like an MLM. I know it's probably actually helpful and well thought out, but they've tried to upsell me twice so far and have referred to the power of their "inner circle" and it's kind of getting on my nerves. I'm not easily affected by dark patterns like these, and it's so annoying that they're trying to get me like this.

Hello! I just visited seven different tech subreddits to try to post this question, and laptop hardware recommendations were against the rules in all seven of them, so if this is still not the correct place, can you direct me to a better community?

With that out of the way, I am trying to purchase the Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 for first year Mechatronics, and while I am very proficient with anything software related, I don't really know much about specific cards and their performance. This model that I am looking at has the following options:

Processor

  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 255HX Processor
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 275HX Processor

Graphic Card

  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5060 Laptop GPU 8GB GDDR7
  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Laptop GPU 8GB GDDR7

I have chosen to upgrade to 32GB of RAM for that necessary speed.

Does anyone here have any advice? Thanks.

Edit:

Found my school uses Fusion 360, not Solidworks, so I changed the title
