Thank you and thanks for noticing! I redid basically everything for this part just so the grain of the wood could be put to good use. The first few iterations of that piece just wasn't doing it for me... until I realized that's exactly what I was missing.

You'd have to be a fool to not atleast give it a try. Besides, it's "uh" date. You're not committing to anything beyond a cup of coffee and a graceful retreat at worst, to at best, a fun night running around town with a new younger friend with whom you get along. Get in there, homie!
Self-righteous, you say? Oozing of smuuuuggg, you say? You're smelling your own upper lip.

I fucking LOVE okra and I'm glad to see that it's even good at other things than me turning it into the most delicious, crispy and nutritious snack you've ever had. When you cook them right like we do down south (yeee-haw!), they'll never be slimy like that shit you get in the freezer section at a grocery store.
I got 8 okra stalks just coming up in my garden that will yield me many, many pounds of okra throughout this summer.
Yes, I have and, again, nobody is cheering that people are being deported. They are saying they have no sympathy for those who voted for this and only care once the consequences reach them personally. I'm not going to pretend your argument is based on anything that's actually being posted hinting that this is a common sentiment for folks on the side against unjust and cruel deportations.
Granted, there is always a fraction, how ever small, of people within any group that are just mean spirited shit-fucks who make the group they identify with look like fuckers as a whole. But in no way is this a common or acceptable view by the vast majority of the group as a whole.
Yeah. Not just longer. But waaaaay longer. Like, over +30 years longer.
Nobody is saying it's okay. The argument clearly being made here is that you can't have any sympathy for someone who gets exactly what they signed up for. Its not, "she voted for agent orange, so now I'm okay with unjust deportation." Being against ripping already marginalized and struggling families apart and not having sympathy for those who helped put in motion the very nightmare situation that their family is now now in are not a one or the other view to have.
Thank you! I appreciate that very much.
