Ignoring that four of the five biggest economies have thousands of years of history being a powerful country

I used to live in an industrial city with one of the biggest inland ports in the world. The rivers are a pretty popular hangout spot. People get some portable grills and chairs and just watch the ships go by. I feel like they are a bit less interesting then old ships tho.

What's your favourite anti-vegan argument? I love the "oh do you want to tell lions to stop eating zebras now too? We are natural carnivores. Look at our teeth" type people.

What do you mean you don't like that snakes bite people. That's what they do.

Reddit was right. You are being gang stalked by the government.

They didn't use bots to upvote that one video from the internet's edgy gore phase, that includes a woman and eating cereal in a disgusting way? Very unlike the internet.

Do you mean orange juice on oats? Because that apparently works and the two combined are healthy or whatever. Or do you mean full on cinnamon toast crunch, frosted flakes type shit? Frosted flakes doesn't actually sound that bad.

If a battle can not be won do not fight it.

If you police it it's not a cultural thing. If it was just a cultural thing than we could just let the * slowly die out. But banning language hinders progress. And I'm sorry, but the German language is constantly shifting and changing. There have even been multiple planned changes that went pretty well in recent history. Using English words might have been a big change back then, but now it's really common. The first terms for mobile were things like "Taschentelefon" (pocket telephone), "drahtloses Telephone" (wireles telephone) or the one that is still in use "Mobiltelefon" (mobile phone). None of these seem outlandish to me.

I've read a times article the other day that claimed it is important for food prices to stay high even though inflation stoped, because otherwise people would stop buying stuff because it might get even cheaper. Yea let me just stop buying groceries for a month.

Hey everyone, I live in a dorm like apartment where my Internet plan is part of my contract. I have a monthly data limit which just isn't enough for me. Buying additional data is stupid expensive. I found out though that your used data is only calculated once you disconnect from the internet completely. So my idea is to get a small device that is constantly connected. I could use an Amazon echo / Google home, but I'm not comfortable with the idea of having one. Could I just hook up something like a raspberry pie to the Internet and how would I go about ensuring that it has a constant connection? Thanks for your time and sorry for the long post.
