well communities are just called communities. That was established long before us Reddit refugees showed up here. I don't think there is an established name for members, but au like Lemmings or Lemmyngs

afaik it is a service they host but is independent for their lemmy instance. It is supposed to find all communities on all instances, even ones that are blocked on feddit.de (like lemmygrad)

I'm not actively watching but it's on the tv and I look at it every once in a while. Now that the rain is starting again I might have to watch a bit.
