That's the software/firmware side of it but the closeness also applies to all the hardware. If something is broken you can't get it from another supplier other than Bambu. And even that you have to think about "rooting" your printer is enough to never touch this Eco system. Keep 3D printing open!

CDs und Bücher auszuleihen ist aber ja nicht der Gedanke hinter diesen Auflagen. Es geht ja um Sachen wie USB Sticks. Warum muss ich auf einen USB Stick drauf zahlen auf dem ich meine von mir erstellten Fotos speichere? Warum muss ich auf CD Rohlinge abgaben zahlen wenn ich eben nicht die CDs aus der Bibliothek für mich selbst kopieren darf?

Generell wäre das ja auch total in Ordnung wenn man dann auch von seinem Recht auf Privatkopie gebrauch machen könnte. Allerdings muss man dafür ja einen 'Kopierschutz' umgehen und das widerrum ist illegal. Also haben wir Abgaben für etwas was niemals eintreten kann.
