How so?
Humans are animals. "Non-human animals" is the most direct and accurate way to specify the set of all animals that aren't humans.

Which is wild to me because it seems really obvious to me that it's intentionally cringy dialogue.
Anakin Skywalker is a cringy edgy teenager for a lot of that. That's like, a major part of his character.
Yeah, really it would be surprising to me if this wasn't the case.
Ah that makes sense. It's too bad the admin tools aren't mature enough yet to make that easier.
I too am getting weird vibes from it.
Very, very, very much agreed.
Lots of good points in this thread, but I'd like to offer that even if everyone on hexbear were terrible annoying people, I'm an adult who can block content for myself.
Defederating is good for when an instance is hosting illegal content and you need to keep it off our servers, or if an instance is spamming stuff with bots and abusing the fediverse, but when it comes to content I do or don't want to see, I want to make that decision myself.
If your pull request doesn't get merged in, you still learned just as much as if it did, so the time you spent doing it wasn't wasted. In fact, people may make comments on it explaining why it won't be merged in, so you'll learn more than if it was.
You don't need to be an expert to start contributing—in fact, the best way to improve is to try to contribute, fail, and then learn how to improve next time you tackle and issue :)
Also, your English is very readable. From this comment alone I can assure you it's more than good enough for writing issues and pull requests. You're doing great, just keep at it!
No people are human beings. Nott potatoes.
This is supposed to be a community for actual questions, not semi-rhetorical questions that just serve as the lead in to a bad joke.
Because of conservation of mass, children must have as much dumb in them as adults do, but because they're smaller, it makes up a higher percentage of their volume, so comparatively, the dumb has greater effect.
Simple physics.

Oh how I can't wait for the day that I can upgrade to an AMD graphics card instead of using Nvidia
