I remember the devs of Avowed having put a delay in place maybe twice now... I feel that Obsidian still believes their game needs polish, and it's convenient that they can push it further back due to the busy release schedule. Furthermore, I don't trust Spencer to be completely honest. This seems like a misdirection buried in a truth about a busy release schedule.

This is why I use this music with a care. To not only stay sensitive to it, but also due to not having to absolutely be up for something every day.

The Sonic drowning soundtrack will wake me out of a dead fucking sleep. That’s what I use for alarms that I can’t afford to sleep through.

Honestly, I don’t mind the lack of romance in Avowed. What I do want is the best written characters possible, if they weren’t comfortable with writing romantic subplots, it’s cool. I only expect them in cozy farming or simulation games.

It's the first time they opened their eyes to the reality; that there are stories in BioWare games that don't cater to straight white dudes purely. This rustles their jimmies in a huge way, the outrage tourists and hate peddlers have been aggressive in the gaming space as most of their hateful audience has run out of steam. Looking for fresh anger and hate, they've been having a field day with gaming chuds.

It's odd that there is a quality issue with Veilguard's writing and voice direction, a lack of nuance and trusting their audience to get what's going on is present in a lot of the dialogue. Particularly, dialogue dealing with one's companions. I watched a video and was saddened to say that this Veilguard isn't for me. I still hope it does fine, granted, as I want BioWare to have a chance to course correct and get a better creative lead and writers onboard. Tell me all those 'woke' stories but with better writing!

As a casual user of Linux (no strong inclination or skill in coding), I tend to veer towards distros that minimize the Terminal usage in favor of graphical user interfaces for accomplishing most changes. Modern Linux distros are a lot friendlier in terms of installing Software from a distro store and graphic drivers via a graphical interface. You won't ever fully be able to eliminate the terminal usage, as it's inevitable for certain tasks like adding PPAs on Ubuntu for example. It was honestly word salad for me during my first foray into the Linux world; but now I have a basic understanding of the Linux kernel and how it functions on a very surface level. I know enough to string commands together and understand the reason why it's necessary to do things in a certain order.

I'm not sure if you'd have a good time with Linux, I'm hesitant to tell you to take the plunge because you will have to faff around with the terminal and use commands at times to accomplish certain things. That requires both focus and patience, something which is naturally difficult for those with ADHD (unless a hyperfixation is quite strong). I'd give yourself time to think about switching for a while, ultimately you might be better sticking with the current OS that you're using.
