As a person who plays from time to time, it was more that the war was in a massive stalemate. It was on the secondary server, where less players are on than is required to push the front lines.

Genre names are just names of the genres. They have no bearing on the actual quality of the games that they categorize. There are good games in poorly named genres and bad games in aptly named genres.

I don't like the ramping tribalism that's starting to go around, but escalating with more tribalism is definitely not the answer.
Being so defederate-happy would only doom this instance into an echo chamber, possibly even turning into the very thing they're accusing it of being now
I'm gonna be that guy and say that death stranding isnt a walking simulator by definition, walking simulators as a genre are more like visual novels meanwhile death stranding id more call a hiking simulator about the logistics of going from A to B.
I'd say death stranding is more like euro truck simulator on foot than it is stanley parable.
Other than that pretty much my thoughts on the game.
