They aren't over-utilizing it though. They're supplementing with portable generators. Even if you've never been to Memphis, you can still look up the info to realize your argument is hyperbolic.

I don't use it for coding. I use it sparingly really, but want to learn to use it more efficiently. Are there any areas in which you think it excels? Are there others that you'd recommend instead?

I used to go to this hole-in-the-wall punk club in Atlanta in the late nineties but I looked like a little hippy kid. My friends had to tell me when it was time to leave since folks might think I was there as a joke in order to fight for fun. I mean, not the same thing at all, but still. Showed me how strongly punk culture has a sense of justice and identity, however spectrumed. Good folks. Strong ethics from my experience.

Reminds me of a school trip to a zoo when I was young where every animal relieved themselves while we were watching. It became a running joke. The elephant was my favorite.
