Kinda disagree on Never Split the Difference! Listened to the audiobook of it and found it to be a good primer on the basics of negotiation, something I profoundly lacked, was never taught, and had that used against me on more than one occasion.
Nothing mind-blowing, but for the price of free from my local library, I feel like the techniques gave me a little confidence in the process.
I do agree that a lot of these books could have easily been WAY shorter but try to sell you on value by page count lol.
Goes double for anything using that trend of trying to make it seem hard core by putting random censored explitives in the title and the text.
That said... I got all the self-help I need from Self-Help Singh LOL.
If that's not a New York Times Best Seller book jacket I don't know what is!

Tunak Tunak Tun was declared the anthem of my California middle school computer graphics class. Lots of FlashMX tribute animations and such.

I wonder if a lot of this was from all the fun file sharing and explosion of P2P networks going on? I don't miss how easy it was to catch malware but I do miss some very particular feeling about those days...
Same thing with RimWorld. They only go down like 10% because they want players who want the game for what it is, not just a cheap bargain. I respect it. A lot of love put into that game.

I use Nextdoor on occasion (a social media app specifically for localized neighborhoods), because it helps with safety or lost pets or something occasionally...
...but lately there's been some tesla vandalism going on, and there's SO MANY comments like "Give them 20 years" and "Send them straight to El Salvador." and "Domestic terrorism!"
I used to resent isolation and lack of community...but now I really don't wanna meet my neighbors anymore...
I want to believe a quieter majority of us aren't cool with shirking due process and shipping U.S citizens to foreign prison camps, if that wasn't bad enough, for property damage of all justifications...but geeze.
