There are certain "stages" and types of AI. To call it a machine thing in some manner is to simplistic I think, anyways, of course, at the current state there is no "super advanced" AI (that's why I said "to some extend) and the government is definitely not the only one developing it. It's going to take some time indeed to progress to a higher a level. And yeah.. There won't be another whistle blower like Snowden anytime soon.

Who said anything about "preference" to an IBM distro? I used Linux mint, Ubuntu, manjaro, arch, opensuse in the past, so there's definitely no preference to IBM.

Yeah it gets better after season 1, but my point was about the whole pre-profiling and predicting potential criminal acts before they are actually executed by utilizing advanced surveillance and interconnected systems. We live in a modern digital age where this is no longer a fantasy, but slightly possible to some extent.

Why even collect telemetry? Almost 20 years of Fedora and now they add telemetry? IBM really turns companies they own to crap.

I totally agree. It's a shame, Fedora really is an awesome distro. Adding telemetry was to be expected since IBM is the parent company of Red hat and almost anything IBM touches turns to crap.
