When a person tells you that a loved one has passed, ask what the their name was and say it back. It can be awkward when that comes up and you might not know how to respond best. I’ve found that most people don’t want you to feel bad for them, but them saying their name and having a chance to talk about them is often a nice thing.

I’m in healthcare so death comes up a lot. “David. That’s a nice name. Where was he from?”

The US has been at war in one form or another since the 50's. We have fought proxy wars against them as recently as Syria in 2019 and please don't forget that they are regularly attacking the US through ransomware attacks against hospitals, local governments, water bureaus, and banks. They are also attacking our elections through misinformation and bribery. They have directly threatened our country with nuclear war as recently as last year. If conservatives don't love our homeland enough to defend it than thank Biden for your safety.

American EV manufacturers are consistently cutting their production citing waning demand. This is obviously false since the US is blocking cheap imports, car makers have everything to gain by limiting supply and keeping prices high.

I was walking in flip-flops on asphalt when I sneezed. I opened my eyes after sneezing and my flip-flops were now behind me but facing forward and neatly arranged. What happened when I sneezed? Did I put my feet together, slide the backward to release the toes, jump up and then forward about 18”? All without noticing and in the span of one sneeze ?

Wow I'm surprised to see people are actually downvoting you and arguing about this. It's common knowledge that the cost, impact, and build-time of new nuclear plants makes them a poor choice for energy. Not only is wind/ solar cheaper, it's faster to build.
