I'm kind of an electrical engineer by training. Experience taking electronics apart, but this was my first mechanical device. It was quite the journey and I only saw some general videos about people taking combustion engines apart. It's a pretty simple device really, but still a new skill. :)

Might be. Still, recommending OP compromises with his partner.

Pretty sure she is eating out that unicorn.

Yeah maybe she might be a little overreaching there? Forcing someone to always make (and eat) the thing you prefer is not a healthy relationship. Time to compromise.

Many people stop developingg personally as soon as they can. Which can be frustrating to see it you pursued higher education and learned how the world actually works while they work, watch TV and drink beer.

But people can only avoid responsibility for so long until life forces them to grow up. Just wait until these people have children or their parents die. Plenty old people are dumb as a rock still, but not as many as you would expect from the numbers. Wisdom is a form of knowledge and people grow, evenh without academic fertilizer.

Took a wood shredder apart and back together after something got stuck inside.

Yeah it's true. Non-startup business owner here. Broken from childhood although cishet white male from a first world country. Adhd high probability. Some OCD too. Employees are content with my OCD due to software development context. X) you gotta make that chip on your shoulder work for you instead of terrorizing the world with your problematic energy.
