Emissions are going to go down when starship is made as well.

Starship uses a methane + oxygen fuel which burns cleaner, and can be produced with just water and CO2 making it carbon neutral.

I don't think every flight will be neutral immediately, or what % will be consistently once its scaled up, but it'll be better.

But 1 carbon neutral flight sending up hundreds of satellites will bring it down quickly. They could even save the carbon neutral flights for themselves for PR purposes.

I didn't know it was so hard to intentionally avoid hiding evidence.

I'm only part way through season 2, but it seemed like the show was getting into its groove better. Was really enjoyable even if not amazing.

He probably knew to always stay on the ground floor of buildings that have bars on their windows.

Headline is a bit sensational, but having a single charger that can charge any EV at home without an adapter is really helpful and could convince tesla and non tesla owners, as well as businesses that provide charging for customers to consider it over other options.

Edit: I often see a mix of Tesla and JS1772 chargers at l2 spots, now they could all be just this.

Whatever you think of the show, it gave us one of, if not the most, epic CGI space battle. It was so damn long and intricate.

They (GOP) created the audience over decades by gutting education, social support programs and encouraging racism.

By the time fox came around people were ripe to be abused.

I wonder if being fired because you wouldn't install work software on a personal phone, and they wouldn't provide a work phone, would count as a constructive dismissal

This is really the EPAs fault for real world numbers.

Real world driving conditions especially on highways where people want to get the stated range have higher speeds than what the test tests.

If you want the EPA number to match real world speeds make the test run at real world speeds.

If you want the population to know EVs run worse in the cold, have a cold weather test be part of the test and require reporting the number. It'd showcase how good the cars heating system is and help people make a decision.

The EPA probably wanted auto manufacturers to be able to report higher numbers and incorrectly chose a lower speed. WLPT numbers are even worse for being wrong (but if I recall, the wrong is more consistent)

It wouldn't be reasonable to expect the 40k price after the crazy inflation we've seen

What I want to know is how much higher is it after taking inflation into account..

Edit: looked it up. 40k in 2019 is 47.7k today. 40k in 2021 the planned release day/price, in 2023 is 45k. The 45k number probably makes the most sense. That's assuming the random site I used is anywhere near correct.
