It’s just more multiplayer garbage. That’s all their new news is anymore.

This site is such garbage how they purposely use these vague titles instead of just saying the name of the game.

Pathetic attempt to drive traffic just because someone can’t see the name of the game in the title.

Yeah I’ve had this feature with the Gmail app on iPhone for quite some time. I use it often on that and Yahoo Mail and Outlook in the same manner.

I’m saying I’m surprised that the Gmail app on iPhone had this before Android got it.

What temp do you set them at for 11 mins?

I’ve never eaten them like that but that looks so good. I’m a big fan of those pickled jalapeños and carrots and that sounds good with a smoked sausage.

Wells Fargo used to do that to me.

We charged you to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account.

Yeah because that robot needed to be reimbursed for their time lost moving MY money from one account to another.

I had money transferred into savings because that was the requirement to have a “free” checking account despite me not wanting to use their bullshit savings account. It finally led to me canceling it because “you transfer too often from your savings account” and they cited this stupid law that says I can only transfer from savings so many times before triggering yet another fee that goes to the bank.

Fuck all these big banks and the banking system that enables this shitty behavior.

Man I remember the first time I saw $20 as a 8 year old and couldn’t imagine all the stuff I could buy with it.

Now I have $100 in my account and feel like I can’t do anything until payday hits.

I want to see what it looks like when aggressive lol

Huh, I’ve had this on iPhone for quite a while and use it often. I’m surprised we’ve had this before Android.

This is me on nearly every level.

But my little sister just ends up getting drunk, eating all the food and falling off the boat hahaha. So we put her ass in the jail sell till she sobers up.

When I first read this, I thought your sister was doing this IRL lol

My brother and I played a few times, but he’s not into it.

I like playing alone sometimes but then it gets boring and repetitive playing by myself. I’m not into PvP either so I’m okay with meeting AI enemies, but as soon as another human comes around, I usually noped out because I just don’t want to be bothered.

Because most cheaters will repeat the behavior again. At least, that’s the way it appears. I don’t have statistics to back that up, but this is what a lot of people believe.

And they may not necessarily be wrong because most things you do, you’ll do again, especially something as heinous as cheating, which is a betrayal of someone you supposedly have a lot of love and care for yet can go behind their back and do things with someone else that was meant only for that person who’s special to you. Many cheaters have an attitude of “who cares? It wasn’t that big of a deal.” which minimizes the act and seems like a way to justify it if it happens again or gets close to that point.

I wouldn’t put cheating on the same level as murder, but I think it’s more similar to abuse and may be classified as a type of emotional abuse on some level. It’s really harmful and damaging and can be traumatic. I’ve dated some women who were cheated on and it changed their lives so much and made them very insecure and somewhat broken for future relationships. My last ex was a mess from her spouse cheating on her and leaving her and it greatly affected our relationship and how she interacted with me and eventually led to our downfall.

People care about the person who was cheated on and don’t want them to be hurt again. They know the hardship that person endured and the pain they felt and don’t want them to experience more pain if that happens again, which seems likely to many people. And like abuse, if a friend told me their partner was abusing them, I’d feel very concerned especially if they have decided to get back together with this person after going through that. And I and many others feel very similarly about cheating.

And in the case of relationships, it is super easy to overlook someone’s bad qualities and even evil deeds because of how you feel about them. I, to this day, struggle with reminding myself of the evil things some of my exes did to me that caused us to break apart and instead have “rose tinted glasses” and want them back despite the hell they put me through. Good friends remind you of the reality of that person and that relationship and do so because they care.

That’s not to say that cheating should never be forgiven and you should always be branded as a cheater and never experience real love and you can never fully stop cheating. Nor to say that your boyfriend is wrong and you will most definitely cheat again. No, not saying that in the slightest.

Just saying, that’s where most people come from and I hesitate to say that they’re wrong up to a certain point.

If I were a friend of your boyfriend’s, I’d likely be in that camp too, telling him that I feel he’s making a bad decision to continue in the relationship with you for the cheating alone, just on that basis. But there does come a time where as a friend, you should back off and let someone make their own choices for their own life, you’ve given them everything you hope is truth and will benefit their life, and you earnestly hope and pray that you’re proven wrong and the decision they’ve made ends up working well for them. Thankfully cheating isn’t life ending, so no worries there, but a broken heart can last years and is really damaging and sad. No one wants to see their friend get hurt again if they really care about them.

That’s a tough place to be. And on behalf of someone who was like this, I’m sorry.

There’s really no way to win here. Your son doesn’t want you to be the cool mom, but at the same time, he doesn’t want you to be cold or mean. You’re dealing with an irrational person who doesn’t know what they want from their mom.

The best you can do is to keep trying but expect rejection most times. Don’t overdo it, but don’t stop either. I think you have good motives, and your son probably realizes it too, but you’re dealing with chemical hormones right now and there’s no real ways to beat it except patience and waiting.

I’m sorry, it’s a hard place to be and I’m remembering how I was towards my mom during that time.

I agree with the other person here. I don’t think you need to abide by your son’s rules like telling you to stay in your room. No, you still need to be the mother and be firm especially because kids get into some bad things and sometimes you need to know when your son is hanging with the wrong crowd. Not that you need to hover over them in his room, but you should be able to be in the kitchen or living room. He still needs to respect you and that’s not irrational to expect that for yourself.

On a Xbox controller, do you use just your index finger to alternate between LB and L and RB and R? Or do you use your index and middle fingers placed respectively on each individual trigger? Or do you have a completely different setup?

Likewise with PlayStation’s control scheme annd its respective control scheme and controllers with similar layouts with 4 triggers.

I tried making the switch fully from Windows earlier this month but the fact that VR wasn’t working well was a big issue that caused me to have to go back to Windows.

I contemplated just having a smaller partition for Windows for VR gaming, but I really want to make the switch fully if possible. I’ll keep Windows on a spare laptop, but that’s it. I want all my main computers to be on Linux.

Are there any distros that work best for this or any tips to share?

I have a Meta Quest 3 that I like using for VR gaming on PC. I’ve been really into Skyrim VR lately and modding in it too. So to find a way to both mod Skyrim VR and play VR would be my goal to accomplish. Wireless VR is not a must but it’s nice. If it has to be one way, whether USB or wireless, that’s fine with me. I’m not strictly needing one way or the other. All of my VR games are in Steam so far, so any tips would be great for this setup.

I tried Bazzite and KDE Neon and both were giving me issues with VR. I had ALVR since Steam VR doesn’t work in Linux natively.

I sometimes see clips pop up on YouTube shorts of Trudeau and Poilievre arguing back and forth but their focus doesn’t seem to be on each other but looking in the same direction, occasionally looking at the other when taking a shot.

Me as a non-Canadian, I’m not familiar with this. What exactly are they doing and who are they directing these to? Is it one person or many others or is it to be in general to the Canadian population?

I went and saw The Wild Robot over the weekend without knowing a single thing about it and ended up enjoying the movie a lot. I truly think part of that was not knowing anything about the movie except seeing the poster, knowing the title, seeing the rating, and knowing it was for kids and was animated (which was evident by the poster and rating). Beyond that, I was clueless. I didn’t even know if the robot would talk or not. The story unfolding out for me entirely was nice to experience.

I won’t ruin any parts of the movie for anyone who may be in my position too, but if you’re into animated kids movies with a hint of sci-fi, you’ll probably like this movie.

I only became aware of this movie as I was checking on times for Alien Romulus and saw this instead. My girlfriend’s son is obsessed with robots so I knew this was likely a movie he’d like to see.

The only place where I’m bombarded with ads anymore is on YouTube on my phone and TV where my adblockers don’t work. So I had never had this movie advertised to me in the usual way others have been.

With the way YouTube ads work, I usually get bombarded with the same repetitive trailers that make the movie obnoxious to me after seeing the same trailer for the 100th time. And it seems that the theme over the past few decades is to spoil parts of the movie in the trailer. Like one of the trailers for Dogman that was shown before The Wild Robot in the theaters tells us how Dogman becomes Dogman… Being for kids, I’m sure it doesn’t matter and it’s not the focal point of the movie, but like, I would have preferred to find that out when watching the movie, not beforehand.

Speaking of Alien Romulus, I’m a fan of the Alien movies but the trailer before Deadpool 3 showed soooo many of the crew’s deaths that it really spoiled the movie. Part of my thrill of the Alien movies for me is finding out who survives from the crew of each movie. But not this one… which is why I still haven’t seen it. I just felt really unmotivated to go see it when it released last month and I didn’t see it this weekend because I’m okay with waiting for it to release for home and maybe I’ll forget what I saw in the trailer by then.

But The Wild Robot was exciting and very enjoyable and I think a lot of that had to do with the fact I knew very little.

I know that a lot of people share the same sentiment about trailers spoiling the movie, but my unpopular opinion is that I don’t want to see anything about it beforehand, in most cases. Give me a poster, title, rating, and I can figure out the rest as to whether I’d like to watch it or not.

This is not to say that movies should never have a trailer of any kind. No, far from it. Just don’t advertise the trailer so repetitively and even more than that, make the trailer available for watching on demand. If I am interested but still on the fence because your poster or title didn’t convey enough, then I can go searching for the trailer on a site like YouTube and watch it for myself.

Talking about those artists who are world famous and always have their treasured instrument(s) like Willie Nelson and his “Trigger” guitar.

Where do these artists typically store their instruments when not performing? If on tour, do they keep it on the bus or in their room?

I know everyone is different, but just wondering about some examples and/or the general places they’d keep them.

Hey all,

I upgraded to iOS 18 yesterday, so wondering if this is possibly due to that or something on the Voyager app’s side.

I’ve noticed today that if I’m on my profile’s page, or viewing a specific post, or browsing a specific community, and then I leave the Voyager app for a time to go to another app or the iPhone’s “desktop” and then come back to Voyager, Voyager will do a refresh and then go to the main page, which I have set to show All. It also refreshes the All feed whereas before it would stay where I left it when browsing All.

Is this a new update or did iOS 18 implement something that is causing this? Anything that can be done to not allow this to happen?

Thank you!
