As long as it's just a fine, it's just the cost of doing business. Start putting executives in jail.

That's the price of the game itself but by the costumes and many leaders it looks like they're wanting to do actual micro transactions.
But it also looks like they're trying to micro-transaction the fuck out of it.
Much of the US, even Texas uses natural gas for heating. Houses in much of the southern US aren't designed for cold weather so people add space heaters. Plus if I remember correctly the cold shut down the natural gas providers in Texas so that wasn't even working.
I wish I could be as pleased with it. I don't want to pay for a service and have that service still collect data on me to push ads elsewhere.
It's also because they can't run headline after headline with "Trump lied" and expect to get clicks. News has become an engagement farm where in the past newspapers and other media were less, well, engaging.
As is tradition. Punishment for crime in the US is for the poor. You can bet if I took that many boxes of documents and even classified materials home I'd be in prison within the year.
This is why I think the people modding cars to be evs are so much better.
They shift sequentially though via the paddles on the wheel.
It's one thing to say what you stand for, it's another thing entirely to say you will make something happen. This is what makes people apathetic in voting because it feels like they make promises they have no intention on keeping. Harris supports codifying abortion and I'm all fucking here for it but she has no power to get that through congress, only to talk it up and not veto it.
While that is true, it's also not true. There are more times a president has communicated a plan with guidance and it never went anywhere.
Biden promised minimum wage increases and student loan forgiveness. Neither have happened and not because he hasn't tried but because he is relatively powerless to actually make that happen.
This was the expected outcome. There are no consequences for the wealthy and affluent in the US, only for the poor. Look at the 2008 financial collapse, there wasn't any real jail time for any of those involved but we can't even begin to cover the number of suicides their actions caused.
