Strange fellas, those Conservatives. When I was young, I thought getting education was at least as bad as being starved, frozen or shot. So why is it singled out?

And between were, we’re and where.

Yup! I’m sorry if I was not clear. What is clear now, is that I’m not a native English speaker 😅

Everyday we love her more despite her mischiefs.

4 days in a row about 40 kilometer (about 25 miles) during ‘De Nijmeegse 4-daagse’ a big walking event in the Netherlands. It was fun! Lots of spectators along the way making a it one big party.

Ohh I already love chewing furniture. But my humom and -dad are very strict. Unfortunately for me they are very alert and tell me time and time again I’m not allowed to do that. That I have to use chew sticks and antler instead.

Hi! I’m nearly nine weeks old and arrived at my new home two days ago. I already know the door to outside where I should do my business, but I don’t make it half of the time. But humom and hudad are still proud of me. I’m very sweet but miss my litter mates at night. My humom now wonders how she can best survive the first week and help me through it at the same time.

Love them too, in summer they are much smaller though. So I assume it’s part of their winter attire.

Today in our garden, enjoying an apple in the sun :)

Thanks! It is! We stopped buying her official cat toys. She has no interest in those whatsoever The ribbons of presents and flowers however, are her favorite toys

[-] PurpleSheeple@lemmy.world 3 points 6 months ago

Luckily, it looks worse than it is. Although she still has 350grams (0.8lbs) of weight to lose (she lost already nearly twice that weight) , it still doesn't help that she is crosswise in her box

Maybe just ask what she needs of you right now to help her grieve. Everyone is different after all and thus grieves differently. For example: we lost our elderly dog earlier this year. What helped me was going through all the pictures I had of her and make a reel (while crying my eyes out). My husband however started to build a bookcase.

Nice! Are they growing on dead pine wood as well? I think they are called yellow stagshorn in English (kleverig koraalzwammetje in Dutch, which literally translates to sticky coral fungus).

But there is another fungus that has the same color but is less forked. That is the Calocera cornea. Although I’m not sure, I think it’s called the small staghorn in English. (This knowledge is the result if some googling, so I might be wrong.) So it can be that one in your garden as well, some googling might give you some clarity :)

It grows on decaying pine wood

Hi all, I tried to make an account at lemm.ee yesterday evening (CET). But, like the title says, I didn’t receive a confirmation email. Is there anything I can do?

I use Voyager (wefwef in an app) in Testflight now. I have used Memmy as well, but like Voyager better. Probably because it has pretty much the look and feel of Apollo I used for Reddit. I am curious how Artemis will be, but that one has no open Beta yet. So plenty of choice for iOs.
