It's too bad the statute of limitations has long since passed because I would have loved to see those fuckers in jail.

That was 2004. Why tax fraud?

I had one actively stealing my checks to make me quit. Guess what I did?

I hear your opinion but I don't see how that tracks.

Compelling question. Honestly I think it's a mentality thing.

Democrats have so many divergent goals that they never want to unify. They see shades of gray.

Republicans see only black and white. It's very easy for them to organize and unify.

It's easy to believe that it's some kind of design, maybe easier to believe than the fact that infighting and poor organization skills keep the Democratic party from dominating like demographics would suggest it should.

Surely there are more reasons than I know though.

This is my biggest disappointment about the Democratic party. They can't get their shit together. It's incredibly frustrating.

And all of a sudden my brain said "flamey-o hotman"

I may be broken. LOL

Is it a good thing or a bad thing that I had to look up that phrase?

At least it doesn't seem to happen too terribly often in the US... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_assassinated_American_politicians

You're not alone. The solution is to run for office, or so I'm told. I firmly believe that anyone who does, even with good intentions, becomes corrupt eventually.
