Me and my friends always thank each other after spending fun time together, how is it even controversial?
It's not that I'm bothered by this post or anything but the described change is so incredibly minor that I can imagine many people not noticing it at all. Also, it doesn't introduce any new features which would require an explanation. The article really seems quite useless to me.
But if it's useful to you and other people - it's okay. I just shared my thought.

I'm pretty sure that any position is bad if you are not moving for a prolonged period of time. AFAIK the clue is to change positions as much as possible and standing desk can help with that because well, there are only so many ways you can sit.
