Yeah the Otto FAQs are kind of funny.. if you are on Otto.de it says:

"Does Otto also deliver abroad?" "No, we only deliver to locations within Germany."

On Otto.at: "No, we only deliver to locations within Austria."

And so on.. so I have to correct myself: If your country has its own Otto domain / Otto shop in your language, you surely can order there from your country 😌

I'm currently wondering whether this is going in the right direction. I understand that we are boycotting commercial products from the US, which makes perfect sense to me. But as someone who works on FOSS software myself, I wonder if we are hurting the right people by not using FOSS software that comes from the US. I think these are largely people who don't support Trump.

There is already a solution inside the EU, the shops just have to support it now. "Over the course of 2025, banks will no longer be allowed to charge additional fees for instant transfers in euros. Banks in all 20 euro countries must also offer the real-time service as standard."

You should mention that Otto is a German alternative FOR Germany. Otto does not deliver abroad. Otherwise you'll just end up leaving people disappointed.

Oh ich liebe die Dinger.. seit unser Obi die eingeführt hat darf ich immer an der Information bezahlen.. weil ich für meinen Teil zum Einkaufen da bin, nicht für einen Kassierer-Workshop. Und das nur damit irgendwelche Penner noch mehr Rendite machen.

Yes its a full NC instance, we use the same hosting for our companies NC and Talk is working fine.

Hetzner Storage Share (Nextcloud) is super cheap, managed and runs very well for me.
