well i hope they stop spraying paint and start lighting shit on fire because going to prison for being a terrorist and all you did was spray some paint does not seem worth it at all lol. im genuinely curious what took them this long tho, was the embarrassment of one of their (rented lmao) planes being vandalized really what it took for them to crack down after many months of doing this shit?

Eh they've been building capacity though.
unless they're literally just been lying they've been struggling really badly to do this, they constantly keep missing their production targets by a ton (in artillery shells particularly but i remember reading about them missing it in other areas too). i will believe they have ramped up military production to a reasonable degree after i see it and not a moment before.
They plan to turn it into their war factory for the coming war with Russia and/or China and I do think that within the next 3 years they'll have that capacity operational and be able to use it against China or Russia and it will be significant in the amount of production capacity it will give them and the ability it will give the west to stay in a long fight.
placing your fancy new arm production facilities (even underground ones) within striking range of Russia's missiles while planning to go to war against them again would be so stupid i struggle to imagine even the dumbest among the ruling class would entertain the idea

as long as youre not uber paranoid/dont need public moderated groups ala a conferencing program like discord, i strongly strongly recommend deltachat, i deleted the account that wrote it but i love this app so much i wrote like a 1k+ word review/advertisement on it a month or 2 ago lol
that's true yeah. although part of it is that i have a remarkably good memory for random bits of info about people (drives me insane if i meet someone there's a better chance ill remember some random thing they told me rather than their name next time i see them), which makes it easier to idenitfy a hb user when i remember something more unique about them and notice them mentioning or even just posting in a subreddit pertaining to that unique thing
like i said though there are people i can recognize on style alone such as pluto/makan and it would take conscious effort for someone like her to disguise an account lol
people most often believe what they want to believe so what this says to me is that even though he is very smart, he wants to believe we have figured out/are on the very cusp of figuring out GAI so he is much more inclined to take evidence that suggests that supports what he wants to believe (OMG LOOK THEY PASSED THE TURING TEST!?!?!?) at face value rather than thinking about whether the turing test is actually even a valid way of determining this kind of thing or not.
