The US was far from reaching the end of ways to grow, they just have to keep financing universities and public research then load it up to applied science and VC money...

They got rid of research. They are getting rid of universities financing. They are emptying the pockets of VCs.

Oopsy.

They'll be out of work next year, one way or another.

The centre left keeps doing it:

Remember: Obama set up the National Security Agency to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies. Obama also signed the USA freedom act (prolonging the patriot act though lightening it a tad bit).

They keep digging the hole Russians will bury them in.

Different countries give different rights for their EU residents. The required minimum is EU parliament vote, but countries may or may not extend it to other elections. The participation to local election votes is quite recent in France (about 10 years). I don't see how we'll make them vote in more elections though without a change in the constitution (the blocking words are usually "representative of the nation" or "national electorate", they clearly ban foreign votes, even if they our our most trusted friends.

EU citizens cannot vote in French presidential or parliamentary elections (They can in mayoral and EU elections though). But I get what you meant.

Good reason, they were just born in the wrong country to have the James Bond experience, they should have watched Homeland.

I think he does and it works the same way: Tarifs set by the EU primarily affect people living in EU countries.

They are already building one in Dresden, others are planned to follow. The CHIPS act is at last having an effect.

Luxury goods are not really hit by tariffs nor taxes the same way more basic goods might be. A $ 4000 bag that goes to $ 4 500 is way more manageable for the kind of people who want to and can buy it (it may even make it more desirable for those who want and can't buy it).

Because there are people getting into prison because they are political opponents. Navalny or The mayor of Istanbul are examples of such tactics.

Interesting to note that since 2022, he lost under 1% of his population to the war... Meat attacks could go on for years on end and it would barely move him.

You got to get him out of the picture to have this war end. Yes I know : there's probably worse than him coming next but I doubt there is anybody more frightening to an opposition than him coming.
