heh. This reminds me of electric cars. I've been happily driving one for 9 years.

Lots of people online and in person tell me "Electric cars aren't there yet. They won't work." Well, you must be correct then. I just handed down my first EV to my kid and bought a second one.

I recently watched "The Program" on Netflix, about one of these alleged leadership academies that is really an abusive reform school. Almost all of them are run by an organization called WWASPS, and all of them are eventually shut down for abuse, neglect, and cruelty.

I imagine it is tough for them to open new locations in US States due to past shutdowns, crimes, and lawsuits.

A quick google search shows that this "Atlantis Leadership Academy" is also run by WWASPS.

Agreed.

My grandparents: Loudly racist

My parents: Quietly racist

Me: Thinking brain logical, but unconscious bias

My kids: Man, my parent is racist.

Good thinking, kid. Get better than me.

How different is this from supporting a small-govermnent dictator?

Because we'd rather eat something else.

That happens a lot to Google products.

Some people get a little success and think that that justifies being a condescending and cruel alleged expert on everything in the world, free from consequences.

See: The creator of Dilbert, Elon Musk, Shia LaBeauf, Andrew Tate, etc.

At which point do we acknowledge the cure is as bad as the problem?

Didn't we all do that when we stopped using Norton Anti-virus?

This reminds me that every night I set the alarm on the alarm clock next to my bed. I bought this alarm clock in 1991 in a Caldor store for less than $10. It has a little light bulb in it that I've changed 3 times.

33 years. Not bad.
