They won't nuke it. The reason for this conflict is, at it's core, that Israel wants that land for their people. They don't want it uninhabitable.
Going to prison for leaking the tax records that Trump said he absolutely would release if he ran for president?
They want to go out in "a blaze of glory" rather than fade away. Israel has been clearing them out slowly and nobody is stopping it, but if Hamas provokes Israel into doing it quickly maybe that will generate enough outrage that the world will try to stop it.
What about anti-Israel protests, are those still allowed?
