The use of "urchin" to refer to children is separate from its original meaning.

Maybe it became that as a word for something underfoot?

Paper Wasp? Could have been worse!

I thought this had been the situation for a while. Didn’t they publicly back this very briefly before quickly walking it back?

Yes, Starmer said it back in early July. It sounds like the UK then looked to get agreement from the US and France before proceeding and the US have blocked it since then.

You can see that the figure on the left has a ring on their right hand. The lady in red has the same ring.

Like the one of the busty lady in Ireland whose boobs look gold from people touching them. The name of the statue is escaping me, but maybe someone else will remember.

Molly Malone.

I remember reading somewhere that this happens because people within Google are only credited for bringing new products/projects to fruition. There's no benefit career-wise to maintaining or improving a product, so once it's up and running you pull your team away from it ASAP to start working on something new.

"Devil Dogs" dates back to WWI, it's nothing to do with D-Day.

Basque is a language isolate and is thought to be unrelated to the Indo-European languages in this graphic.

They developed what might be the first cancer vaccine

If by "they" you mean Russia, that's not what your source says. It's a press release about Agenus (a US company) licensing their vaccine for production and sale in Russia.

they have entered into a license, development and manufacturing technology transfer agreement for Agenus' Oncophage® (HSPPC-96; vitespen) vaccine

Both the same species (if I'm not badly mistaken). Both indoors within a foot of one another.

Found indoors in a rural house.

Moving some of my old posts over from Reddit, thought I'd give people some stuff to ID.
