Same. I've given men and women compliments and have gotten random compliments from both. Usually tshirts or hair styles or tattoos that run close to what I like. I think it's more about how it's said. Informal compliments are best as it doesn't put assumptions on the other side. "That's a cool hair ribbon" is different than "I love when you wear your hair ribbons". The assumption of feelings isn't in the first one. More compliments should be given out freely if you genuinely feel a certain way. Just don't go full lovestruck on the ice breaker.

Same. I know sync isn't foss but the features and how it's presented got me into the lemmyverse. I use it more than jerboa or infinity. Both great but the sync guy has a good smooth app. I support that.
It's very good. Larian studios really went above and beyond with the level and attention to detail. The replayability is incredible. Most streamers are still on act one and there is no shortage of stuff to do. Edit: autocorrected a word
I jumped ship when the protests began. Catering to shareholders will move where the buck stops and so far the whole thing has been horribly mismanaged.
For real, they're like one of the only companies I know left that just do their thing and not step on anyone's toes. Also the sly push to Linux gaming from creating the steam deck and having people want to make it compatible. Most my machines are Linux now. I only have 1 gaming windows PC left. I wanna learn by immersion.
Bwahahaha. I was already back and forth with wow for the longest time after wotlk but you could see the direction change and I was a huge overwatch fan. It was my new TF2. But damn it was like coming out of childhood and realizing your favorite hero was not who you thought he was. I'm still holding out hope for valve. They aren't public (I don't think) and gabe has made some very good business decisions. Not to mention the steam deck has done more to take market away from the guilt windows has on gaming. This is a wild time to be alive.
Jumped ship when Spez wasn't caving to the protests. I was mostly a lurker on Reddit and posted a little but now with the state of our social media it's better to get out and have a voice. And this place is nice
That's some good psychedelic stuff.
Yoo-hoo. Loved that shit when I was a kid. It tastes like the most horrible take chocolate sugar drink now.
There's a saying that kinda caught on. If people want to listen to what you have to say they will stop. A lot of my experiences at least have to do with everyone else is so much faster with what they want to say and the thing I had in mind is from 1 idea ago and no longer relevant. If I had just talked when everyone else was talking it might have gotten though. It feels weird as hell to interrupt people but the ones who talk a lot never feel upset you butted in and the ones who care would wait for your input anyways.
