The tax being on your income and not entirely on corporations always felt like a fairly biased distinction. If companies paid the entire income tax long before it got to you, and you were simply paid ~2/3rds as much, I feel like people’s opinions would be different despite not much changing.

Stealing shamelessly from another comment, Stop Ice is a website version that should be a little more secure due to not being an app on your phone.

Fascists are stupid, but lots of sociopathic opportunists aren’t.

Whether or not this splits them is up to the useless old geezers who should have retired decades ago.

I’d have traded Bernie for axing all politicians over 60.

I think it’s accurate to say that most women express emotions more frequently, which is healthier, whilst men are more likely to bottle up emotions and thus have more noticeable and chaotic outbursts.

Of course, neither of these are hard rules, but they are observable societal norms

There are 3 years and 11 months many of us spend fighting for that. Then there’s one month where keeping the literal modern nazis out of power requires some unsavory choices.

I was sleeping in my parents room, on the floor, till I was embarassingly old.

Turns out I had/have Tinnitus and found the background noise of whatever show they were falling asleep to made it infinite easier to sleep.

I have three bottles, still sitting neatly in their half of the 2 pack packaging. It hurts.

Chaos like… basic social policies most of the modern world embraced half a century ago?

Seems like that isn’t going to be particularly productive for anybody but russia?

A, this is why magic isn’t real

B, the law can say whatever the fuck it wants it still can’t bend reality. More likely and much simpler, the vampire cop brings a non vampire friend who beats you until you “willingly” invite them both in and they plant drugs all throughout your house.

It’s really simple. If you aren’t a sociopath, you never reach having so much money.

You can literally just go to the episode and read the sources for yourself if you hate fun dude

One of the most interesting details about the Nuremberg trials, which I only learned from the ever excellent Robert Evans on a podcast, is the controversy over how many of the crimes Nazis were executed weren’t really “crimes” - international law wasn’t really a thing, and they weren’t really illegal under German law.

Yet we hung the Nazis anyways, because they were the fuckin’ Nazis. I find this a comforting thought in these times.

If you’re in need of additional fortification, the article on John Clarence Woods might help, the hangman who very incompetently and thus painfully executed nazi leadership - there is also a Behind the Bastards on him, possibly the one that discusses the trials iirc.
