Love this sentiment. Honestly I never thought I’d see my home of Georgia go blue. 2020 was a powerful reminder that there is still power in our votes. Keep the pressure up until all of these wannabe fascists are gone.

If anyone from Georgia sees this; you can request a mail-in ballot beginning August 20th! It’s my favorite way to vote because it’s easy and comfortable. The fact that it seems to annoy the fascism party is a really nice bonus too.

Purely anecdotal of course, but I switched to a whole food, plant based diet after my first high cholesterol diagnosis at the age of 36. Within six months my doctor was astonished that my cholesterol dropped by 78 points and was no longer considered high.

If you can manage the effort of changing, it’s entirely worth it for your health. I have two young children and I am committed to doing everything in my power to be around for them as long as I can. If i have to sacrifice some tasty foods to do that for them, it’s worth it.

I do miss cheese though… so very very much…

My people! Their screenshot gallery was the sole reason I got into Linux back when I was in the sixth grade. The skills I learned by using it as my daily driver got me a job at a web hosting company and started a very fulfilling career.

It’s okay. I realize lots of people are suffering and as a result tensions are high. I didn’t mean to make everyone so angry and I realize my initial comment of ‘have some humanity’ was to harsh. I’m sorry I made so many people angry with this.

I do feel bad for the people that loved this woman regardless of how much money she has. I don’t wish that pain on anyone.

I don’t know why, but it’s easy for me to imagine a person out there just grieving the loss of their mom this morning, and in turn imagining how I might feel in their shoes. It feels bad, and my heart does go out to them.

I am sorry that I made so many people here angry, but I can’t turn off how I feel about it. i stand by it.

I would not push such a button.

I don’t think the kids who just miss their mom this morning are undeserving of my empathy no matter how much money the mom had. I can’t just turn off how I feel about this. I am sorry I made so many here angry though.

Damn this was my first thought too.

Someone pass me an AARP card and a Costco-sized tube of ointment…

It’s such a small thing in the scope of what this platform does in my life, but Im super hyped for the new UI sugar added in this release.

I’m going to add to the chorus of voices here advising you to stick with homeassistant. It is hands down the best open source home automation platform.

If you need help with reverse proxy let me know if you’re using nginx. There are a few header configurations that are required for the home assistant interface and I’d be glad to share my nginx configuration file.

You could also pay $6/month for nabu casa and they will proxy everything for you in the cloud.
