Looks like perhaps Jerboa doesn't have a way to link to communities in a universal way like the website does. Shame, but I'm sure it will come.

Hmm.. That's a shame. I can confirm that it doesn't work for me in Jerboa either, but it does work on the website. Looks like Jerboa doesn't handle URLs in that format correctly and tries to open it in a browser.

Try this: https://lemmy.ca/c/WheelofTime@lemmy.ml

See my reply for a clickable link that should work on any instance. I haven't tested in Jerboa yet. Let me know if it works.

Here's a clickable link that should work on everyone's instance as long as it's not blocked. /c/gamedev@lemmy.blahaj.zone

Arch.

One day several years ago I had to replace some hardware and the copy of Windows that I had installed decided that I was no longer authorized. I got fed up and left Windows behind for good. For a few years I had Manjaro installed, but eventually I needed a change and wanted to start fresh so opted just to go straight to Arch.

If I understand correctly, and it's possible that I don't, the All feed will only show posts from remote communities that at least one user from your local instance has subscribed to.

I believe this is why the front page will suddenly be filled with posts from a new community, it indicates that someone in your local instance has subscribed to that community and that community has started pushing out posts to your local instance.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong about that.
