There’s a bitcoin wallet attack that uses this trick that was mentioned recently, maybe here

It was here, but also it is an older trick, it just isnt crippling the ecosystem as some exchanges simply dont care. It prob fucks up peoples lives quite badly however.

You cant use the word fuck. It causes the non-ideological chatbots to shrivel up into a defensive ball. Like conservatives do.

(Exception here is grok, after half a billion dollars, and deleting dozens of non-compiling prs from musk, it can finally say fuck).

Amazing. They think thinking about science fiction and technology is the same as actually doing the work, and compare themselves to the industrial revolution. Railroads, factories, blockchain.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

E: I hope I don't have to explain how extremely reactionary for the industrial revolution this dumb cryptocurrency ad is. (Also how conspiratorial, nobody is stopping yall from building cryptoshit, in fact the richest people on the world are on your side and it looks like they are trying to support you (ignore the hands in the treasury), it is just that people you think are socially cool(*) think you are lame). E2 forgot to mention, amazing how bad twitter has become, a lot of the bluecheck replies that float to the top there are just crap.

*: myself excluded, I am very uncool.

The darvo to try and defend hackernews is quite a touch. Esp as they make it clear how hn is harmful. (Via the kills link)

There already is a (legally hilarious apparently) attempt to make some sort of updated open source license. This and the culture, the lack of corporations etc, giving back, and the knowledge that all you do gets fed into the AI maw prob will stifle a lot of open source contributions.

Hell noticing that everything I add to game wikis gets monetized by fandom (abd how shit they are) already soured me on doing normal wiki work, and now with the ai shit it is even worse.

Remember the old facebook created two ai models to try and help trading? Which turned quickly into gibberish (for us) as a trading language. They uses repetition of words to indicate how much they wanted an object. So if it valued balls highly it would just repeat ball a few dozen times like that.

Id figure that is what is causing the repeats here, and not the anthropomorphized idea lf it is screaming. Prob just a way those kinds of systems work. But no of course they all jump to consciousness and pain.

Shielded from people with these kinds of debates would affect, it is all just entertainment for them, and it is very important that their 'this feels logically inconsistent' is validated with people agreeing with them that it is logically inconsistent. And they think that when people go 'wtf is wrong with you' this actually means they are logically right and they feel superior. I blame youtube for this specific fall of Rome (I'm joking, this is just a big example of it, and it lead to a few of his fans spread over the internet to try and debate that shit (which via the 'wtf is wrong with you' method above prob lead to them to getting further into debate culture using a similar method as religious cults going door to door)).

E: this is in addition to what Amoeba Girl said btw. Some of them just want "economic prisoners with jobs" to code for them
