Because a significant portion of the world doesn’t agree with you so you need buy-in.
Why is getting angry the only thing you can do? Sounds like a lack of imagination to me. How passionate are you about this if you’re already resigned to the idea that any attempt to persuade/convince is a waste of time?

They could but if you work as a salaried employee somewhere it is unlikely you would spend enough individually to exceed standard deduction in a year, so they probably don’t write it off.

That’s fair lol just in general bathroom etiquette is weird. There are a lot of unspoken rules about proximity and hovering around things, but there’s also no way to get in line without physically being near it
