Hey everyone,

I’m currently looking for a few more moderators to help out with this community!

I started this Community as a space for SAO fans to connect, share fanart, discuss episodes, games, characters, theories, and more.

It’s been great seeing people join in, but I’m also moderating a bunch of other communities across different Lemmy instances, and it’s starting to be a bit much to manage on my own.

My Mental Health isn't doing so great, either.

If you’re a fan of Sword Art Online and want to help keep this place friendly, active, and spoiler-safe, I’d love to have you on board as a mod.

• I love them both so much (biased I know Imao).

• I want more people from the main squad to get a girlfriend/boyfriend not just Kirito and Asuna (and Agil and his wife).

• SAO is my favorite anime, SAO movies and games are also my favorite.

• After experiencing SAO every other anime/movie/ game feels so bland and boring Imao.

Is SAO your favorite anime/movie/game? And how to you guys enjoy anything else after watching Peak Art Online?

I recently finished the anime for the fourth time and i’ve decided to buy the light novels.(volumes 19-21)

However, I really enjoyed Alice’s character and I hope that she still plays an important role in Unital Ring.

Does she remain a main or central character moving forward?

I just realized that Vassago/PoH isn't that much taller than Kirito (ani.social)
 

I found this settei image of SAO Alicization WotU that shows the characters' heights.

Kirito's at 170 cm whilst Vassago/PoH is at 176 cm (meanwhile Gabriel Miller is at 178 cm).

You think they would be much bigger than Kirito (like 185+ cm) but no they're not that much taller than him.

What happened to the Laughing Coffin members after the game was cleared? (ani.social)
 

It doesn't seem like the police did much about it because in GGO you have XaXa on the loose, the police probably couldn't have done much, but they should've tried and caught at least a few members.

This is meant to be a hypothetical and realistic speculation on who will Klein end up with. Is she an SAO survivor or maybe we haven't seen her yet or he'll remain a single lonely adult?

Do you guys thinks that if Mental Health Counselling AI program like Yui were not forbidden, fewer players would have gone astray (ani.social)
 

Yui played such an important role even if it was for short term for Kirito and Asuna, I think she helped their mental health, so it makes me wonder if more like her were able to break through or ignored the orders in the game or cardinal system had not forbidden them from interfering with players whatsoever, maybe many would've not lost hope and survived and those who survived had not gone astray like those laughing coffin SAO survivors.

If SAO existed, based on the many skills and abilities available, would you survive the initial year? (ani.social)
 

I agree with Klein’s early statement, that with a good team and a whole lot of grind an MMO can be easy.

However, I’d get too stuck on picking a weapon class to specialize or what skill set to hone.

I’m curious to hear what builds you guys would use, or if you’d stick to being a city slicker for survivability.

I’d likely end up a vendor chasing after high rarity jewelry in exchange for party invites to high-ranking bosses.
