I'm thankful for that.

Just Enterprise. Man I still hate that intro.

I don't get the whole MIT vs GPL rivalry. They both have their uses. If you want to use GPL, go for it. And if you want something like MIT that works too.

Thankfully both exist because I think we definitely need both.

You can also get shadowbanned on a specific sub. But I'm guessing OP is asking about sitewide

And yet I still spend most of my time in a Linux terminal

I feel like this post might be too interesting to qualify for this community!

A question posted on another forum, but I thought it might be good to discuss here. Do you think it's true? And if true, why might that be?

  1. Boomers and GenXers don't like that, either. So we haven't done anything like that in many years.

  2. That's an excellent sugguestion. And I've learned that it's much better to join what people are already doing in the area, rather than replicate it or start something new as a church that is already being done by others in the same city.

It's becoming more and more apparent that the next generation is different than Boomers and GenXers. And our methods of evangelism and outreach may not be actually reaching Millennials and Gen Z.

So what does your church do or what ideas do you have to reach them with the gospel?

Acid Lakes is definitely a great song too.

I don't think there's a single bad song on the whole album. They're all at least 'good' and most of them are 'great' songs in my estimation.

The whole album is fantastic. But this is the best song IMO

Sales have slowed because dealers are selling above MSRP still.

It depends. I ruined my Teflon, but my cast iron is great. Mostly I just hate plastic spatulas.

Cast iron is non-stick and so much easier to clean

I'm not a Republican anymore. My political beliefs haven't changed that much, but the party did a lot.

I'm for small government. And I'm personally socially conservative but don't think the government should be involved in mandating morality except for when it involves harm to others (murder, theft, fraud, etc).

Policy wise, I think the GOP should be more about actual small government than just being about 10-20 years behind leftist policies (see social security or health care mandates)

Here's my question though. Can the GOP be saved? Can it be restored to actual fiscally conservative values?
