Something that started happening today that wasn’t happening yesterday. When I go to communities I frequent, the most recent post it shows me is from days ago. However, I know there are more recent posts, including ones from me. I also can’t see any posts in my history (but all of them are from the last few days so it could be the same issue).

In the pictures, you can see one that was on lemm.ee that shows a post from a few days ago. Then there’s another from lemmy.world that shows a couple more recent posts. Both are sorted by New.

Any ideas what might be going on? Is this happening for anyone else?

He had a pretty good year with the Ravens last year. He should be able to still produce some since Brian Burns will probably be taking most of the heat.

Chris Cornell of Sohndgarden, Temple of the Dog, and Audioslave

I’m also always impressed by Demi Lovato

That’s perfectly fair, but don’t expect the original person to want to get back together with you then. It’s not about whether it was ok for him to have sex with that girl, it’s whether or not Rachel was justified to not want to get back together because of it. Which she was. And he knew it, or he wouldn’t have immediately tried to hide it.

He didn’t cheat on her, but that doesn’t mean she was obligated to be ok with what he did. If he wanted to have a chance with her ever again, sleeping with someone else while they were on a break (or even immediately after breaking up) was a stupid thing to do. Part of Ross’ problem was he was so focused on the technicality that they weren’t actively together instead of the reality that it still was obviously going to hurt her.

This marks the first time the Super Bowl has had an alternate telecast on a different network.

Irsay reportedly said they didn’t plan to extend him. I’m not sure if that’s just meant to be they aren’t extending him yet or they plan to let him enter free agency after his rookie contract his up.

Irsay also responded after the report saying "We're not trading Jonathan... end of discussion. Not now and not in October!"

More info from later tweets: the cart had to come pick him up, it’s a calf strain and they don’t have a timeline for recovery yet.

I imagine they mean without a cloth, poof, or loofa. As a kid I would put body wash in my hand, lather, and rub it over my body. But it tended to use up soap quickly so either I had to add more soap part way through or the things I washed last didn’t get washed well. Which is why I switched to a poof.

The cardboard tube only goes partially through the hole so the majority of the toilet paper is wrapped around nothing

The linked article says “During the strike, actors will not be permitted to promote past projects through conventions, interviews or panels.” That seems to me like they can’t promote anything they’ve acted in, no matter how old.

The writer’s strike probably still won’t be really felt for a while, but this will have an immediate effect. No press junkets, no premieres, no conventions, etc.

Technically Disney doesn’t own those theaters, but they told the theaters they wouldnt get any more Disney releases if they didn’t do what they were told. And given how nearly every big blockbuster is Disney nowadays, that basically made it impossible to ignore.

It really should’ve been squashed, it’s cut and dry monopoly behavior.

[-] TheAndrewBrown@lemmy.world 17 points 11 months ago

Theoretically, the way it works is each one of those sales should go through until you hit the one that would push them over the edge to monopoly. You don’t block a purchase because of purchases you expect them to make in the future (unless stuff has already been signed)

Shit, as a Floridian, you may have just convinced me we should let them live. We already have too many people moving here.

Well it’s meant to look like the original comics, which had a pretty bright yellow. There’s a reason the X-Men haven’t used that costume in a while lol

Also, can we not support people putting no effort into the title? It’s really not hard to write a halfway decent title.
