I've seen that option but unfortunately not every NSFW post is NSFW because of nudity. Like some of the post in the Ukraine community are marked NSFW for war reasons.
This is the thing I'm happiest to see and I hope it helps Lemmy grow more. Being able to block the NSFW/porn instances is such a quality-of-life improvement. I've got nothing against porn, but it's a bad look if anyone can see your screen and every third post is nudity (even if it's blurred).
Good news then, because there's a second half to the story!

I gave up on online dating last year and I won't be back. If that means I'll end up dying alone, I'm honestly more comfortable with that idea than suffering though anymore of the bullshit that's Tinder/Bumble/Hinge/etc. It's become such a miserable experience for both sides (men and women).
As someone who had used online dating on and off for 10+ years, I can tell you one of the big problems - money and greed. I know it's always easy to just "blame capitalism", but I've seen first-hand the paradigm shift from an actual useful service (i.e. a way to meet people that you would otherwise not meet) to the blatant greed it's become. The dating apps are so obviously profiteering off people's loneliness it's fucking disgusting. Back before Match bought everyone up, these services used to actually be okay for what they were.
100% agree. I really enjoy the app and Kuro has done amazing work, but this logo misses the mark tbh. I'm definitely no graphics designer (just someone who knows enough to make shitty memes), but the alignment is all over the place with this logo.
Looking at the pot, that's legitimately the first idea I had if OP wants to go the malicious compliance route. I'd be tempted to build a table around the plant pot. Something like this (but for outdoors):
Wait, hold the fuck up. David Tennant is returning as another Doctor!? I haven't watched much since the Matt Smith era, but how the hell does that work with the DW lore?
r/place is an interactive art project run by reddit on April Fools. It ran in 2017 and 2022. Now they've brought it back for 2023 (it was supposed to have happened on April Fools this year, but various....things....happened). It kicked off again today and as expected, it's gained attention for the bad timing (protests, tone deaf admin, etc..) and people have coordinated to write "fuck spez" messages and other things (at some point, there was a guillotine + reddit's head).
Where did all the 90 minute movies go? I'm up for a longer movie if it can hold my attention (I have the same problem of dozing off) but 90 minutes was the sweet spot. Especially because you could make a late night (10pm or after) snap decision to watch a movie and still be in bed before midnight.
I'm really digging the realistic take on the yellow suit. I think it works well.
Also, I hope there's going to be a scene where he rips the sleeves off. Long sleeved Logan feels wrong 😂
I'm enjoying it so far. I like that it's not a direct one-for-one clone of reddit (not that it was intended to be). It feels like a combination of older reddit (> 10 years ago, when it wasn't as active) and old school forums (like how older posts will bump if there's activity). It makes me want to be more active vs being a lurker.
I have no intention of going back to reddit. I've already deleted RIF from my phone. The 3PA thing was the last straw for me, but I felt like reddit had been going downhill for a while and I think I had been looking for an excuse to fuck off but couldn't quit cold turkey. Whatever good intentions that company might've started with, they're just a greedy corporation now. They haven't cared about their users for a while (which is interesting because their users are what create their content. Reddit itself doesn't create anything).
You're more than welcome to post on shitty food porn. There's not a lot of activity and the votes will let you know if it's the right place (I don't remove posts unless they're breaking rules). It kind of has two interpretations - pictures of shitty food (self explanatory) or food porn that's shitty (ie bad lighting, bad presentation, etc).
Or let me know if you start an "average food porn" community and I'm more than happy to link it in the sidebar of SFP.
